It is very real. I also posted the link. Here is the justification:

The other side
When contacted, a Bandra police station officer, on condition of anonymity, said, "I am not aware of any late night party or loud music." Speaking to MiD DAY, Special IGP Parambir Singh said, "I had gone to the party for a short time and left early."

However, sources from Bandra police station said, "How do you expect us to take action against a party where the union home minister's daughters and other VVIPs were present?"

Despite repeated attempts to reach him over the phone and via text messages, PI Abhay Shastri remained unavailable for comment.

It's strenuous to read the article so I didn't gather the exact story. Based on the headlines, why is it so difficult to summon Salman? It's not like he's Don who's impossible to catch or is it? Sounds dramatic though

Btw he's supposed to appear in court today or tomorrow for the case isn't he? I hope the system gives their final verdict soon than dragging this case for another 10 years

^^^He can appear in court only if he receives summons. Otherwise he can claim he didnt know there was a court appearance on that particular date. But too many non-appearances can lead to court issuing a non-bailable warrant. I hope they take that step.

Oh Shreya...i am sorry that u misunderstood me...of course its a legit article...what I meant was that its kind of unbelievable that someone like Salman would disappear...

Not if he or his lawyers don't recieve the summons officially...they can always say that they never recieved the order to appear before the court...thats why delivering the summons to the proper person is so important in legal matters..
