Tanaaz, Bakhtyaar: Poster couple!

First, they made T-shirts to promote themselves.

Now, Tanaaz and Bakhtyaar Irani are making posters to garner more votes for Nach Baliye 2. In fact, we managed to get our hands on one such poster with a picture of them, encouraging viewers to vote for their jodi.

When quizzed about it, Tanaaz says, "I don't know why an issue is being made about this. Actually, the T-shirts were made for another purpose but were attributed to something else."

Know us better

Calling it a healthy habit, Tanaaz says that she won't shy away from using whatever means to garner the maximum votes. She says, "It happened last year as well. Everyone is doing it in own little way. I don't think any contestant has issues with our posters. It's just a way to let the audience know about us."

Talking about the phenomenal reaction she's been getting for her performance with Bakhtyaar, Tanaaz says, "I was at the airport recently when several people came up to me and told me how much they appreciated our performance. In fact, my former school teachers have also told me how much they've enjoyed watching us dance."

Surprise treat

This week, the judges weren't exactly happy with the couple's overly enthusiastic performance. But Tanaaz says that they've taken heed of the judges' words.

"Bakhtyaar will be totally different from the last time. I think the audience will definitely be in for a surprise treat next week. Nach Baliye is more about presentation and creativity, rather than dance alone. It is the concept that is judged as well, so you have to keep coming up with original ideas."

As for the much-talked about poster, a source from the show says, "Some actresses are not too happy with Tanaaz and Bakhtyaar using posters and T-shirts to promote themselves. But at the end of the day, every one is doing their own publicity to get more votes. Tanaaz and Bakhtyaar are not the only ones."
