IN RETROSPECT... DOES J-P SURPRISE YOU?

I am a little behind on uk episodes, which as it is are about 4 days behind india. so last night, after watching the india video (which is something i only do on special occassions! 😉) i watched the uk epi where jai goes to confront pia about bani and pushkar.

in retrospect, it makes even more sense that jai would fall for pia's desperate overtures - again, before throwing joote at me at least read why! 😃

listen to pia's speech - she spends a good 5 mins dialogue breaking down any singular hope of union with bani that jai might ever have had.

"yes mr walia bani loved pushkar, yes mr walia bani never loved you and stayed with you out of majboori, yes mr walia she never wanted a child with you, now that she's divorced she can go out and find her true love, oh mr walia i am soooo sorry everything is my fault because i broke Romeo and Juliet up!!!" 😡 😆

she just doesn't stop! and look at his face - you can literally see his heart break with every word!

he then goes to cry in maasi's arms and over and over again says the same words - "sab kuch khatam ho gaya" 😭

as i know from the update he now runs off to dubai with pia madam in tow. there he gets call after call to say your wife wants this divorce sped up, pushkar came in to make sure it happens as soon as possible.

now even if we take alcohol out of the equation, is anyone surprised that he succumbed to someone who kept telling him how much she loved him???

and let's not forget, she has been there for the last month or so, around him (buzzing around like an annoying mosquito that someone should have swatted long ago! 😡) - she is the only person from home that he has seen, the only one who he might have grieved in front of.

again, i do not say that if jai and pia slept together bani should ignore the fact and brush over it all - all i am trying to say is before everyone goes off on a high horse about marriage, fidelity, abstaining and all just try and for once, put yourself in his position... he gave his heart and soul to someone who apparently felt nothing for him, he lost a child which he had so desperately wanted, and he will have to live with this forever. Again, he is completely alone.

and before all the arguments of bani's self-sacrifice begin remember, JW knows nothing of that! he put so much faith in her and she evidently shattered it - the characters do not know as much as the audience do and it's highly unfair to judge them on the basis of our knowledge!

all said and done however, bani deserves the truth - especially after her confession last night. i hope that he tells it before someone else beats him to it because bani has already been through enough!! i dont think we've heard the end of Pia even if Jai were to tell her she means nothing to him and he loves his wife. that witch is going to be a continuing source of pain and hassle for her forbearing older sister! 😡

maybe we should watch all the episodes backwards - trust me it gives you a better understanding of the current events!! 😆😆😆

Oh, by the way - Jai's assistant was going on and on about a higher bidder for the Dubai Hotel, some N.B. Group of Companies - i have a feeling this person may well be the entity causing our Jigs her pareshaani!! 😉

The Episode you mentioned was one of the best RK Shots ever....Anu and I kept raving about JW's expression's in the scene where he goes and asks Pia about Bani and Pushkar...and mind you, he doesn't use the word Love for Bani and Pushkar, rather he uses the word Like! Jai can't even imagine that Bani can Love anyone else apart than him......

I posted a huge thingy on the whole Jai and Pia ONS....In which I both criticized and supported Jai on what he did!

But I won't buy the fact that Pia was one of the reasons why Jai was pushed over the edge...Jai has stopped being affected by Pia long time back....He doesn't take her words seriously...The only reason why he got agitated by her words was because of the circumstances he was under...He lost his baby, He got to know his wife loved someone else, his marriage broke up.....I mean, how much can a Man take? And yes, Pia repeating and emphasiszing all this over and over again was like rubbing Lemon on an Open Wound... 😡

Now its Pia's time to wallow in self-pity...Let us see how she feels when she sees Bani all wrapped up in Jai's arms in Dubai! 😆

sorry for being unclear, what i mean is that when we watch the J-P episode if you look back at previous episodes afterwards it puts everything into context.

When Jai went to ask Pia about the truth about Bani and Pushkar she rips his heart into shreds with her words, it's very sad. And after that, I am not surprised that he succumbed to Pia because it would appear that she is the only one left who feels anything for him. 😭

In retrospect, no not actually... its been brewing since Jai and Bani got married. I expected this from pia. But i had hoped, that Jai would be strong enough to stay put. Anyways what has been done has been done, and there's no changing it.
Somewhere down the line i hope that Bani is allowed to remain happy atleast for sometime, before another cycle of her crying act. She looked so gorgeous in yesterdays episode, so happy that i don't blame the guy for not telling her.
I just read an article which has Nigaar Khan along with the cast of KS. Maybe she's owns the N.B Company. And maybe she also has some connection with the 15 year raaz...

I agree but has someone considered that Jai might just start to like Pia, as what purpose will Bani now have in his life if everything is all hunky dory, the story will not go any further.....as it is he never really says that he loved Bani or am I missing something here.

I understand what you're trying to say Cordy!! He has gone through a lot, suffered a lot!!

But you know what I see as a bigger mistake...forget Pia and Jai...It's Jai returning to Bani and sleeping with her as if nothing happened. He now knows that she loves him (so no heartbreak there). He's no longer drunk...he's fully in his senses! If there's anything left, it's guilt! Shouldn't that guilt have stopped him from even touching her?! What he did was an insult to the sanctity of their relationship!

I do sympathize with him though...I'm sure the guilt is eating him up...and trust me, I don't exactly like being mad at him 😭 But I still stand firm on my opinion...what he did is wrong!!

Those are some good points.

I beg to differ with MT, that pia didn't push him over the edge, The way i look at it, Pia was the last straw to push him over the edge. There were other reasons, but pia was the last piece of the Puzzle, and then you couldn't expect anything but immense loss after that.

I know he stopped taking pia's words seriously, but at that time, he DID take her seriously, because she did say that Bani liked Pushkar, but at the same time she added bani and pushkar didn't have an affair(if memory serves me correct), at that point, the way she put that in words, anyone would've believed her(thinking from a character's point of view).

It isnt really suprising fr me either tht JP slept!But Jai had lost had lost his control over himself and PIA was doing all tht she cud by seducing him!..Pia did try her best to convince Jai tht bani doesnt luv him as she was unaware of the fact tht bani and jai luvd each other!!...

Pia actually has proven her besharmi by doing what she did!..She was in her full senses then why did she do all tht..i mean even if SHE thinks there is no relation between jai and bani she is married and tht she was totally wrong !!..I dont think anyone has to deny tht fact tht she started all the drama by running away from the mandap..SHE IS SUCHA GOLD DIGGER!! 😡

Firstly thanks a ton, cuz I was fed up of reading everyone bashing Jai like the poor fella has committed the worst felony in his life...I completely agree with whatever you have said.

Though I am totally against Jai sleeping with Pia and wouldn't have considered a crime if he would have gone and slept with someone else. However I do agree he was literally pushed towards it because he had lost everything he had...

From the day serial has started, Jai has been shown as a person who took care of everyone, but there was no one to take care of him. He thought he was in love with Pia, but then she too left him for another man. At a time when more than him his ego was absolutely shattered, Bani entered his life and once again slowly and steadily he started believing, maybe just maybe this time things would be different. Maybe this time he has actually come across a person who loves him for what he is and who will always be with him.

But then destiny had different plans and again his wishes are shattered with the Park Road Raaz, but then comes a new hope with Bani becoming pregnant and he hopes at least through the baby he can get Bani back. Finally he'll have someone to call his own, unfortunately he encounters another blow when he gets to hear Bani has aborted his child...

Is it wrong after so much has happened, the man breaks down?

Is it wrong for a man to seek any kind of comfort he gets under such circumstances?

Wouldn't it be unreal to show Jai upholding all the so called moral values at a time when he's emotionally broken down and feels there's no hope left in his life?

Come on get real, I am sure 9 out of 10 people would have succumbed in this particular state, as it's natural human tendency to seek solace or comfort at a time when nothing feels right...

It is all very well to say, one should always do the right thing, however when you are down and broken it's not your mind which functions, it's your heart that dictates...Despite the weaknesses if a person is able to live up to his or her ideals, hats off to that person...but unfortunately not all mortals are so perfect...
