thx Cordelia for this brilliant comment 👏 abt MT, i love ur updates & comments bt i dn't agree with this one. if jai really didn't want to hurt Bani on that night, he would have spent time with her without sleeping with her. Men....

abt jai bashings...

1. i dn't think anything happened from the way the scene was shot

2. the 1st thing Jai said after he woke up next to Pia was 'On God, wht have i done?' which means he regrets this even before knowing that Bani was indeed innocent

3. rem Jai refused to sleep with Rosh saying that he was drunk but still in his senses. drunk but refusing roshni bt drunk and still willing to sleep with Bani who he knew was very pure - at that time he was starting to fall in love with Bani and that's y he refused Rosh. But on the fateful 4th oct, he thought his whole world had collapsed. so if u want to blame someone (a) blame jigs & ranveer to always creating misunderstanding between Jani (b) blame Pia 4 thinking that the whole revolves abt her, not nt realising that Bani has a life of her own, that she is currently in love with Jai (c) blame that lawyer who created a misunderstanding so that he can win a high-profile case (d) blame masi and raashi for nt telling the truth when they knew Bani was trying to protect Jai (e) blame BANI for trying to be God and protect Jai (f) DON'T BLAME JAI

4. Jai loves Bani in a mature way. Loving Pia was just one moment of madness, do u rem how many times he told roshni that he has 4gotten abt pia completely, that once something is over, it doesnt come back. But Pia is not helping by alternating between looking sad and giving him angry glares. as mentioned in (2) above, he already regrets it bt Pia seems unwilling to let him 4get this. Pia we have all been watching this episode very very very carefully, Jai never promised u anything, so why all these angry glares? go, get a life and leave Jani alone in their own life

5. Pia looks happy the next morning cos she thinks Jai is now in her grasp, that she now has got someone to spoil her as she thinks she deserves to be treated in life.

6. jai is only a character - so how can we blame him? if there's someone to blame, that's Ekta. life is already stressful Ekta, so if we pay a subscription to Zee TV, its to have a good time & not to have raised blood-pressure. u brought Mihir back from the dead in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi to please ur audience. So plz find a way to make sure that J+P did not sleep together but was just in the same bed

I beg to differ with MT, that pia didn't push him over the edge, The way i look at it, Pia was the last straw to push him over the edge. There were other reasons, but pia was the last piece of the Puzzle, and then you couldn't expect anything but immense loss after that.

I know he stopped taking pia's words seriously, but at that time, he DID take her seriously, because she did say that Bani liked Pushkar, but at the same time she added bani and pushkar didn't have an affair(if memory serves me correct), at that point, the way she put that in words, anyone would've believed her(thinking from a character's point of view).

i agree that he took Pia seriously - because this is an Ekta Kapoor serial where the lead characters have selective belief in people, selective trust in their actions, and selective interpretations of the truth!! 🤔

seriously though, i think he asked Pia because it involved her husband too and he thought she might tell the truth about her sister. he doesnt get that she is an opportunistic moose who needs to be pushed over a cliff!! 😡
