And heartfelt post by lilmzsunshine!! This is my observation of the character Ram through the week
Which has been anything but a roller coaster

Thank you Cv's! You tried at length to give pages and pages of dialogues to show maa ka mamta, ek selfless love ki free advertisement. But what you gave to Ram Kapoor was silence. Unfortuntely, the actor is such a class apart that even with that he has portrayed the turmoil so beautifully.

The shock and disbelief of Monday to a silent car ride inspite of having his prized daughter nearby. His mind wasn't happy. Neither was his heart. Because all he wanted wasn't just Pihu! It was never just about that. Beneath the anger, the hurt and the betrayal, the love was never gone. Inspite of being hidden, it couldn't be destroyed. Hence it wasnt' just winning, because he didnt' want just a daughter back but his wife. The one he wanted to fight and win his trust just silently gave up the daughter. Hence it hurt more than it could.

Seeing his daughter at his home and making sure she gets everything she needs but even while he loves to pamper, he cares for Mom's advice for a right tiem for icecream. IT wasn't about becoming the best parent, he just wanted her happy but still listening to mom. It wasn't a mindless ruthless behavior to show he can be a better dad or a parent. else he wouldn't be calling Priya when his daughter wants to speak or doesn't have her food. If this is what makes a person egoistic while the other person who did it for 5 years is called sacrificial, then we need to check the dictionary for double standards

The opening up to his mom who never ever showed empathy but was merely judgemental is again a character of a person whom to the world is an arrogant businessman but one who has nobody to listen to. HE shares his mind of missing something only to being labeled a selfish person to separate the mom and daughter. I would have respected this from a grand mom but only if that question was posed to the mother who took her child away and denied the father his rights. But well, the family was just a namesake one. Niharika was a better mother with fake love than KK

And the watching of the bedtime story. IF it was a mother figure replacement, the anger is right. But she was being a maasi! I would have loved to see the dad and kid bond, but there is something that's stopping him,. His guilt. His remorse of taking the kid away inspite of wanting it in court. That's why this character is special. He doesn't have to wait for 5 years to feel the guilt or remorse or move on! He loves people way too much to hurt them and when he does, it hurts him worse. The silence, the angst and the portrayal of unhappiness while having his Kohinoor daughter is the walking talking example. That's only if you keep the eyes open during the jab we cried moment that you can see the pain, the silent hurt that is portrayed! Thank you Ram Kapoor the actor for this! IT wouldn't be possible with out you!!

Havent seen the epi. This thought just came. Who knows how much a kid suffers due to separation from mom in this show other than Ram himself. He feeling remorse for Peehu and missing Priya is natural.

Will add more once I see the epi.

Here I go.

ST rocked.She is the encyclopedia of crying. Brings out the tiniest nuances. She was simply great today. Priya really brought out the mother's love very well. Superb. Her anxiety, her intuition were bang on. Her breaking down in front of her man knowing their daughter slept in their haven was superb. Within a minute, she was a puddle. Very natural and heart-wrenching. But, what made me more emotional was her story to Happy and Tiger. She couldnt cry but her pain came out. Could feel her lonliness. Poignant.

And Ram. Who knows better about separating from a mother. Right from the moment he got Peehu, it was remorse. That is remorse for you. Because, for him it was Peehu and Priya both of their feelings that mattered. The way he comforted Peehu, the way he smiled seeing Priya's picture was super. And he confessed to Priya without the feeling of being wronged about Peehu not being in her room. That said it all. That love and remorse made him confide. And his helplessness in trying to console PRiya was too good. The way he put his hands over his forehead when he couldn't see her crying. That was it. I liked it so much.

He might not have been given many words, but he doesn't need them. He is a man of action. His expressions were enough.

You said it all.. I have nothing more to add, I know everyone is angry with our dear golu and not at all understanding his pain and hurt,. He lived all his life without his mom, do you think he does not understand pihu's state? surely he does, he is just fighting with his emotions right now..I feel for him more than Priya, We all know soon he will melt and make everything right.. my dear golu.. love him so much.. 🤗 Awesome post.. I am really loving this track, I really hope CVs do some justice to his character too and not make him really a villian..

u knw court case was bahan for his hurt to come out he wanted to fight it out with riya now he is caught - btwnn a hubby n a dad!! 😳- priya @ dis is a mum only,

he is perhaps the lonliest person none of his family gets his pain😡 hell the mum who missed her own kids growing up dsnt identify rather taunts him! and gets the mum who ran away better, but she even forgave priya for lying of death for keepig pihu away but cant get rams pain of missing any moments of his kid??😡

he ddnt snatch pihu!! the guilty wife gave him after he saved her life, as a mean to protect the kid but in her bashan the trick was the last part- coz pihu is rams life too n she wanted him not to lose it again, will accept it as remorse of five years but he ddnt force her, made her do this. had he lost the case i guess his family would have thrown a party for priya

i dnt understand the focus of parents gender, a five year old kid who has lived in another country with a parent is now admsdt new family without that parent in new surrounding it will affect the kis, whether tat parent she grw up with was dad or mum the reaction would be the same!!

unfrtunately here it is been potrayed as maa ki mamta only, yes both are very attached but does that mean ram dsnt deserve the chance to actually ever get close to her?

priya dsnt want tor ruin ayesha life, she wnt come in km, she hasnt shown interst in ram so how can ram evn ask her considern she walked out only? so the solution at this moment is only shared parenting, if he does give her back what will he gain?

pihu will still consider his home as others home

his family as his rishtedars not hers

she will be more comfrotable with sharmas n priya simply coz 24 7 saath hoti hai!!

today i feel ram exprssed his emotions amazingly

disheartened n demotivated by total lack of emphaty of family
painted bad guy by mum dadi sis - all who are imp to him
has kid but misses kuch aur-that is worryin him distracting him hence absentminded n left with ayesha
he shares with mum in hope of some comfort gets shot down
guilt of priyas pain- he is feelnig remorse even though it is still not his decsion
vents out his only person who he can talk to
she gets it sothes him he goes
sees the pain of daughter feels sad
seees the pics (PRIAY) missses her more
sees her out
overwhlemed with care for her but torn to express- nt coz of ego my dear coz they still carry emotional baggage he cant exer physical right on her
she leaves and he surrenders to her pain - that is how pwerful is his love, feels her pain!!

but to day i dont not why i feel so bad to Ram as a father. I dont feel bad to Ram as a husband,there are some differences of opinions between husband and wife.

I know, priya was not right as a wife,but she is always right as a mother.

today Ram hurt my mother,s feeling,I dislike him not as husband but as a good father and a emotional lover as we expect from Ram,s character

if it was any other actor sakshis performance would have blown him away and i mean it she was sooo good at it but being RAM KAPOOR the caliber he dwells with him is unmatchable and he stood there acting with every inch muscle of his face really felt the pain of priya on rams face it was perfect receprocation of emotion and he has merely 10 lines or two three more in this four days but the way he managed to make us feel hi presense was just mindblowing...love you ram kapoor

Lovely!!! It was a treat to read the analysis of our Golu.

I think, maybe, just maybe, he wanted the court fight almost as much as he wanted Pihu's custody. He wanted to be able to best Priya, to beat her, to just ... win one over her, possibly in the case of his daughter where she's won one over him for 5 years.

I dunno, just a hunch, could be wrong.

And with the chance taken away from him, he's ... speechless. Something IS missing, he just doesn't know what. But he's our Golu, he'll figure it out soon enough.

He's getting whammy after whammy - the selfless act at the court, the lack of the fight he had been gearing for, the victory w/o a battle, the realization that Pihu may not be comfortable, and now Priya's another selfless act ... poor guy. Poor Priya. Poor Pihu.

Wanted to give him, and Priya a hug today.

And of course Pihu too - she needed it more than anyone. From both her parents :)

Hello. Here we meet again. A good episode involuntarily brings me out here. But an unfair badgering of my fav character gets me quicker!😆

He has lived without his mom. He has never understood how can you leave when you love someone. His philosophy is life is very simple! Way loyal to the person whom you love. Hence after Jan 10th when he portrays his hurt, he never expected Priya to be doing that act! He needed time and wanted her to win him. His actions in the past few months of landing up at Priya's flat at numerous occasions are a proof at that.

If anybody who watched the RaYa scene today overlooking those tears and a mom breaking down, couldn't have missed that silent burning to death by a husband and a dad. It was just shouting at the top of his voice how much he wanted to just hold her in his arms but he couldn't do it. And Iam glad it didnt' happen because it would become meaningless if they moved away post that.

There is nothing but pain and even in his biggest moment of having his daughter home isn't giving him happiness. Wonder what do we expect him to do? Iam waiting for him to either give up pihu or get Priya home !But I really hope Priya sees and shows missing a presence of a husband as much as a mother missing her daughter! I would love the heading towards reunion then more. Because along with a parent, there would be a couple equally yearning to be back together.
