I thought Jagya was a 'changed' man already, what with his re-birth as a son again..So many people were defending that he is again a good man now. If he was changed already, was it really needed for him to go for another 'change' or 're-birth' or whatever he has gone to find in himself? As far as we know he had turned a new leaf and his heart was again filled with goodness.
So what is it that again triggered this self exploration. Uh.. wait.. could it be because of watching the live telecast of a certain marriage.. hmmm.. that looks just like our OLD Jagya.. to run away.. after facing grief or something sad. I was hoodwinked into believing that he has changed, but I was mistaken, Jagya is very consistent with his selfishness.
Duty & responsibility is above everything else in life. For so many years, he ignored and mis-treated his family. He gets one chance to set everything right and he goes away? Wow. Whatever his reasons maybe, he is putting his family again on the back burner. His needs take precedence as always. Selfish to the core. And IMO, his reasons are not even strong enough to leave. It's just his ego, guilt & escapist nature at work again.
I am not going to buy the arguement that he is going to become a better man and it would ultimately be better for his family too. I mean cmon! Maybe he might take lesser time to become a 'man' by venturing off by himself. But he can't he put the extra effort for his family and improve in Jaitser, even if it takes more time/more pain? For once can't he be selfless and just think blindly about his family and nothing else. That too a family whom he hurt so badly? Why not!!! They are at an emotionally vulnerable situation right now.. giving away their daughter, expecting their son back... slowly they were building trust for Jagya in their hearts.. and now suddenly both son & daughter will be gone from the house. Can Jagya not think about himself and think only about their pain for one minute? Yes in past he has shown some selflessness 2-3 times, but he has shown only selfishness at all other time. His few acts of heroism/selflessness don't form any excuse for the current situation.
And let's not forget the very bold fact that everything that he is facing is a projection of his own deeds... Can't he man up and face life ever.
I am surprised that in the zeal to defend Jagya, even his earlier mistakes/sins/crimes of committing bigamy, etc are being neutralized. Which I thought most people agreed to as his mistakes...
Overall I am just disappointed with Jagya, yet again. Very sorry for Singh family.
