When Rajev Paul flew a plane!

Post his negative portrayals in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kavyanjali on Star Plus, Rajev Paul became a household face. And when he recently visited Maldives, he was delighted to see people recognise him. "I was in Maldives for three days where I was a state guest. I had quite a few awesome experiences there and even met the tourism minister."
The TV actor recalls how he got into the cockpit of a plane and managed to fly it for a few minutes, and in the process scared all the crew members! "They got so scared when they got to know that I'm flying the plane!" he laughs. According to Rajev, the only mode of transport in Maldives is the speed boat and almost everyday, he was cruising around in a new one. "I even went for underwater diving and snorkelling. Now that was quite an experience!" he says. But the one thing that Rajev missed was wife Delnaazz's company. "It is a place meant for couples, so I missed Delu over there," he says with a smile.
On the professional front, Rajev is busy with Karam Apna Apna on Star Plus, where he's playing a positive character. "I'm an extremely positive person anyways, so this role is perfect for me," he says. But wasn't he apprehensive of not being accepted in a positive role after being accepted so whole-heartedly as a negative character? "I'm open to all kinds of roles, as long as they're interesting. Then if they've got shades of white, black, grey, red or blue, it doesn't matter!"
