Birthday Celebration

Hello All!!

As the subject shows this debate is about birthday celebration. I do not understand why people celebrate birthdays?

• What's so good about it that you need to celebrate it?
• One is getting one year older and most people do not want to get old, yet it's celebrated. Why?
• So are they actually happy to turn a year old?
• Why do people get gifts?
• What is the reason behind giving gifts?
• One didn't had the chance to pick the location, time, family, gender. So why does one still celebrate?

These questions had been bugging me for sometime now. I would love to read your views on this topic.

I think I like to celebrate b'days 'coz I get to have one more reason to party 😉 and meet freinds and get gifts and flowers 😛 ....yeh dil mange more 😆

But on serious side you are right we don't get to choose family or anything and on the contarary we are getting older than why do we celebrate? I look at it like I met my parents my brother and friends 'coz i came to this world and I really love them so much. I met all my near ones that I am lucky and blessed to be with them...so maybe on this birth day I like to thank God for such happy and caring family and like to celebrate and share my happniess with my family and friends.
