Q. Allegedly, you got married to Aditya Chopra eight months ago...
Who said so? Some tabloid? What can I do about people who believe lies? It's a world full of liars. I only pray that the truthful are able to survive in this world so that people can finally know the truth. My marriage has become a joke, which is absolutely wrong. But when you're part of the industry, people have a right to write about you. You cannot stop them.
Q. After Salman Khan's, it's your marriage which is most speculated about. Why don't you end these speculations?
Marriage is not something to be rushed into. While doing Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, I realised that if you marry, it should be for the right reasons. It's important that you make it work and not take it as a joke.
Q. What's stopping you from getting married? Haven't you still found the right guy?
I've heard that we come on the earth in pairs, get separated only to meet once again through marriage. So whoever is there on this earth for me, will eventually get paired with me. Till then, I'll enjoy my singlehood.
Q. Are you aware that you are referred to as 'the boss' of Yash Raj Films?
I'm not bothered about what people say behind my back. I don't need to know about it. I believe in living my life and doing my work. God will give you success. And even if he doesn't, there's a lesson to be learnt.
Q. What's your relationship with Aditya Chopra?
He has been my producer and is a friend.
Q. Reportedly, he gifted you a car worth one and a half crore…
Yet another lie! What can I do about lies? People think only a man can lavish gifts on a woman, a woman can never gift a man. This is cheap mentality. I sometimes feel sorry to hear what people say.
