In next second he found down Brown , they were dark brown and those sleepy eyes , were blinking and looking at him .

She was kind of disoriented as after long train journey , she finally had a shut eye .
But after the nap when she opened her eyes, she was blinking as to place the pieces together , when she finally got her vision cleared , her eyes clashed with two pitch black eyes. Those inky eyes were worth drowning in for! For wat seemed like timeless moment the jet black eyes dueled with the brown ones.
If it hadn't been the quake causing them jerk back n forth, the eyelock cud have stay on for eternity!
Back to real world.
Finally the surrounding became visible ,which had just vanished few moments ago.
Ok now surrounding check
# She was asleep
# Then she was drowning in black sea of his eyes
# Then their was a quake which saved her from sinking deep into those eyes .
So now checking all the facts, the conclusion is dat if the taxi hadn't came to an halt and making them slightly jolt up from the their seats ; they might have still been in their own bubble; insulating them from the rest of the world.
And he still had his eyes on her face, though the distance between them had now widen ,which was not so wide few seconds ago. SECONDS ! everything happened for mere seconds , not even a whole minute. But after losing herself into his eyes seemed as if ages had passed.
Being self conscious she tucked her hairs behind her ear and adjusted her specs. She looked away from him, registering the area outside the window that she has arrived to her destination. Without wasting any time ,she got out of the cab. Actually fell out of it as if she can't help to get away as soon as possible. She took a DEEP BREATHE leaning behind the cab's closed door .
"1...2...3.. mind check mind check. Check if Dimag thikane pe hai ya nahi . aise koi behave karta hai!!!!"
She gave herself a mental slap and turned to unload her suit case from the rack above the cab
"wait let me help u" he said emerging from the his of door and offering her assistance.
Taxi ke liye jhagad raha tha tab itni gentlemengiri nahi dikha raha tha . ab kya hua?
But before he cud cross the rear side of taxi (dickey wala side ) , cab's driver was beside her to help her unload the bag.
The driver said 2 him "dekhiye main inhe ghar chod deta hoon. Aap yahi rukiye"
"wanna switch places" he wanted to say this but instead he opted for "thik hai main yahi rukta hoon aap jaldi aa jayiye".
"Thanks ramesh uncle"she thanked him as they entered her building complex.
"Arrey beta main andar tak chod deta hoon"he said coz they had only entered the residential complexcomprising of various buildings , it was a huge and her apartment was quite inside the complex.
"arrey choti beta aap aa gayi" the aged watchman with pleasant smile on his face addressed her.
Ramesh and the watchman were acquainted, they conversed a bit .than ramesh left though assuring that she is dropped at her apartment. They both treated her like a kid though she wasn't one , physically atleast.
"so beta aapki trip kaisi thi"the watchman asked while he was escorting her to her building which was at the far corner of the complex.
"acchi thi bahadur uncle " the trip was a success , she was among four junior executives to be selected to present the company along with the other staff at a conference out of town.
After they crossed the swimming pool and the kids garden ,they finally reached the entrance of her building . After bidding goodbye n thanking him ,she made her journey to the to her apartment via the elevator. In the elevator she dug out her phone and dialed
"pooja darwaza khol main aa gayi hoon. "
Finally out of the elevator ,she was greeted with open door to her apartment by a teenager,she was around 16-17. clearly her look was like'she was just been out of her bed'
The teenager hugged her tight
"missed u choti Di"
Her nickname was stuck to her like bubble gum to one's hair.
Given the fact that with the advent of her little sister pooja 16 yrs ago she was no longer the youngest and only child of the sharma family but was the eldest.
But no one addressed her by her real name . funny part her little sis also addressed her as 'choti'.
She had such a nice name Mugdha meaning young , beautiful , innocent. And she fitted perfectly to every meaning of her name
With just the white towel tucked around his waist he emerged from the bathroom drying his hair with other towel. After rubbing his hair for few moments, he just dumped the towel not bothering as to where it lands. He then fell on his bed tucking his hand behind his head ,he was straighten in the pose not even bothering to swap his night clothes with the towel .
He drew few deep breathes and was staring at the ceiling.
He was feeling so ... So... So...so...so...so...
...so...so...speechless...hopeless...breathless..
It was like...like...like...ummm...like...
Like being kicked out the plane without parachute , landing into desert facing the scorching heat of the sun. Starving for water for days
But at the same he felt as if he is downing in the ice cold water, and the water pricking him like needles.
He felt heavy ;he felt light
He felt hot ;he felt cold
After examining his thoughts
Now he was feeling idiot and stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He seriously might have lost his mind after he lost himself in the big brown eyes.
Wat was wrong wid him he cud't understand. But he just stood there and stared at her back walking away from him into the dark and he was frozen in his spot leaning to the cab. Unconsciously doing "palat palat (turn back) scene from DDLJ",which wasn't a succesful one in his case
Then the driver came after a good 45 minutes and rushed in the taxi to drop him. So foolish of him to get into the taxi and been drove away.
Now he was regretting , on his way home his mind was in complete daze reliving the moment shared between them.
He was so engrossed in his thoughts he didn't know wen he got out of the taxi ,paid the driver and entered the gate of his bungalow.
Than it clicked him he didn't even know where she lived coz the driver halted the cab amidst the deserted ,concrete road and there were no residential area within the eyesight.
Coz of the dark (lets us blame the dark not the fact that he was under someone's spell) ,he didn't registered any landmarks or name of the road, nothing . Stupid , stupid , stupid
