She is his wife now so observing karva Chauth is her duty.
She will perform and observe all of the duties of a wife because she needs to salvage her concious that she:
- forced him to marry her because her pride/ego was hurt;
- has forced him to go against his own family;
- will responsible for this family being torn apart; and
- has destroyed a good man whose only crime as she said was to love her.
And to prove that she will stay in marriage no matter waht.
