THE UNTOLD TRUTH Chapter 23

Away from London in delhi anahita raizada sat on garima guptas sofa in deep thought. She had planned to stay over at garimas bcoz she didn't have the courage to go home. But now she had made up her mind and had the perfect plan to defeat rodger. The first thing being, telling her husband the truth, she knew even if he didn't accept her in his life he would still help her for his sons sake for khushis sake, for garimas sake. And with determination she headed home after hugging and wishing garima good bye who wished her all the luck and assured her she will support her no matter what!

Anahita raizada after a long time felt alive!!!

Khushi changed into a simple red knee length dress with nude heal pumps and was waiting for arnav in the living room. He had informed her that he is going to get everyone gather in their room and had gone to call everyone personally.

When arnav entered their suit he looked tensed. He had called akash, payal and NK but lavanya was nowhere to be found. To clear things first lavanya had to be present and he could not find the girl anywhere. The moment he saw khushi looking at him with concern filled eyes in that RED dress all other thoughts flew out of the window.

She looked directly into his eyes and could sense the change, he was worried about something but the moment he saw her it was like he forgot to breathe. She smirked as she remembered why this color might have affected him so much and couldn't stop herself from blushing. Though she did take out some time from all the blushing and checked out the person standing infront of her from head to toe. He had worn a casual grey t shirt with a leather jacket and formal pants and shoes. 'formal' this word can never be extracted from ASR's dressing she thought.

Arnav: are u checking me out miss gupta?

Khushi: huh!? Yes I mean, no, I mean… wait don't I have all the rights to do whatever I want to.

Arnav: do u know u r a clever little thing!

Khushi: ya I have been told that many times, tell me something I don't know.

Arnav was walking towards khushi with slow strides and both the contenders of this game were smirking at each other.

Arnav: well miss gupta are u trying to kill me?

Khushi: not now mr raizada, AFTER I marry u and take all ur money then ill kill u and run away.

Not that arnav didn't trust khushi but not even in his wildest nightmares could he imagine khushi being that evil and after his money. He folded his hands on his chest and slightly pouted indicating that he was hurt and not talking, an expression only little kids can have but this is arnav raizada we r talking about.

Khushi wanted to laugh at him but she composed herself and prepared for damage control (a thing she has done her PHD in as she needs it the most), then she did what she does best BLABBER!

Khushi: ok ok ok sorry, I didn't mean it that way… I wont take ur money and I wont kill u… infact ill give u all my savings which I have kept for my world tour! There are so many places I want to visit but its ok, ill give them all to bcoz once we get married it will be ur responsibility to take me where ever I want and I wont be needing ur money and-

She noticed all this wasn't working and now she had to press his weak point "emotional blackmail" she cupped his face and said in a very low and husky voice.

Khushi: and… I will never leave u even if u try to hide from me and run away from my non stop chatterbox, ill tie u down with pins when we sleep at night so when u try to escape I get up and hug u tightly and not let u go and mind u I am a black belt.

Now this surely cracked arnav!

He had a complete idea of how crazy she was and entertaining his life would be. He could actually picture her pinning him to herself at night.

Arnav: thum pagal ho… (translation: u r mad)

With that he hugged he tightly holding her close to himself.

He knew she understood he got hurt bcoz she mentioned leaving, no matter how cold hearted he might be but he was still the kid who lost his mothers love who has distant herself from him. This reminded him of his mother and he was about to talk to khushi when the door knocked.

Arnav opened the door and everyone came inside including lavanya.

Arnav: lav where were u?

Lavanya: I was in my room ASR!

Arnav didn't argue, he knew she wass lying, he had gone to her room. It was slightly open and she was nowhere to be found. But now was not the time to ask questions, some major problems had to be sorted out before.

Arnav: guys ive called u all here bcoz its high time everyone knew the truth. About khushi and my life and also about mine and lavanyas relationship.

The whole room went into silence and waited for arnav to continue the much awaited explanation.

Anahita entered her house with determination, today she would talk to he husband no matter WHAT. she clutched her bag tightly holding it close to her, safe guarding it as it had all proof. She could here anjalis whole hearted laughter and thought the father daughter might be having their moment. But what she saw made the ground slip under her feet. She saw anjali sitting opposite to Rodger and laughing with him. Question was what could have Rodger told her, where was her husband and WHY WAS RODGER AT HER HOUSE, HER HOME, HER BELONGING.
