i am so missing that yash chopra vibe. the worse thing is, srk a matured actor is shown playing with very young girls. the chills, goosebumps, the sighs are missing.

where are those romantic moments of rekha & amit in silsila, the mischievousness of sridevi and rishi in chaadni , not to forget saddness of vinod khanna, the poems of kabhi kabhi, ohhh..the greenery, the chiffons, of previous yash chopra movies.

the "maturity" is definitely missing from the promos. i am actually shockd to see srk khan doing a ishq shava at this stage of his career. anu is looking way too childish.

at least veer zaraa had a more matured cast of priety and rani..who were at least more suitable for srk.

srk last outing don 2 was delicious. yes pc and him...absolute yummy.
ra 1 - kareena and him...nice, very nice. yes i am going to excuse his ra1, c'mon. at least he had the vision, but it got in wrong hands of anubhav, he simply failed to execute it properly. so i gotta give it srk, at least coming out of his comfort zone and trying something new. so what the outcome was not as good.

but doing JTHJ. did he do it for yash chopra? did he want to do another romantic movie? but why with such young girls...why not a matured romantic saga, in line of lamhe, with say vidya. why srk.

ufff...i can't wait to see the movie. i hope and pray it doesn't disappoint.

even im a bit worried about jthj. i know it will have a decent story, some nice dialogues and great performance from srk, no doubt. but 3 hours is a bit long especially with just 3 characters, if WOM gets out that its slow and boring it could hurt it. jthj will definitely have huge opening, but don't know if it will be able to sustain it. i think SOS will have normal start but later on get more n more money.

music is decent but expected much more from rehman n gulzar. challa and title song are good. but veer zaara had really nice music and if i recall, the cds sold a lot.

@john89,

i am not worried about the movies performance at boxoffice. i am worried about critics take on this. after ra 1 and don2, this movie gotta give critical acclaim to srk from all corners.
thats what srk needs right now. something like chak de india.

i don't want to see an average to above average movie which gets the 100cr due to its massive opening. i want the movie loved by all say like english vinglish.

boy oh boy...this is really stressful...

being a big fan of JTHJ myself- i will say its a little too soon to discuss about it but yes ill admit the romance is nothing in front of rekha-amitab from silsila. I just watched "ye kahan aa gaye hum" again yesterday and the chemistry and romance takes you to a different world!

It is too early to say anything but I feel that the critics will give JTHJ a good review regardless of whether the movie is good or bad because of Yash Chopra's death.

I also feel that it will do better than SOS business-wise because it has 3 things going for it.Firstly, SRK is an international star. Second, for some reason (completely beyond me) Katrina is extremely popular. Third, Yash Chopra's death due to which the movie has generated a lot more intrigue than it normally would have "what was Yash Chopra's last work?"

Kudos to SOS for taking a huge risk, I think it will pay off and do good business, enough to be a profitable venture. Will it do better than JTHJ? I am not sure but if it does then very surprising although it does have stuff going for it as well.

According to me SOS is a gimmick🤢...looks like the purpose of making this movie is just to make money by fooling people in the name of entertainment...it's another dabaang/bodyguard/bol bachan/rowdy rathore/ready etc etc...i know it's all business and quality doesn't matter for masses but it's getting too much now😡...again we will have movies like daaang2,kick,sherkhan.khiladi 786 which have nothing new to offer...i never wished for any movies to fail but now i hope all these movies fail so that they stop making them...

as for JTHJ i wasn't going to watch it if it weren't for yashji even though i am srk fan...his movies are sensible enough...
