It was the first episode of "Marry Me or Not" By Love Productions, owned by the great Arnav Singh Raizada. In his mind, he questioned himself on how foolish he was to sanction such a show, which played with the lives of women. Yes, he was a womanizer, but he would never want to make a fool of so many girls on national television.
"Marry Me or Not" was a new reality show, upon which the girls would bluntly ask their boyfriends to marry them on the spot. If they said yes, they would have their wedding right then and there in front of the public audience. If no, the girl was pretty much a joke among the audience and the guy a jerk.
Khushi Gupta, on the other hand, was repenting on her decision of entering as a contestant. Was Armaan even the right guy for her? She had always wanted affection and adoration, which was never received by her from Armaan. Yea, he loved her. But, was it the love she had always dreamed and longed for? What if Armaan said no? What would become of her? Of course, she would go back to being the maid of her father and sister! She would return to the life of a lowly writer who had no identity to the world. Her family would still be dependent on her, and she would have no life of her own. Not that she ever did. Was there any way she could just escape? That's it! She would run out from the studio! They couldn't force her to appear on television if they couldn't even find her! She picked up her white gown, and started to run in her white pencil heels. She quirmed in pain, but she had to do it. For her honor.
Khushi let her dress go for a second, when it got caught in her shoe, and she lost balance. Thankfully, Arnav was right by her and caught her in his arms. Khushi gripped his strong, muscular arms for eyes to lined on his v-lined chest. Then, she looked up to meet his chocolate eyes. They shared an intense eye lock before he pulled her into his chest, her soft bosoms meeting his chest. She was startled, and immediately fixed her dress. Arnav straightened his coat, "You okay there?" he asked with his sexy, husky voice. Khushi was smitten by his voice, when she blinked out of her daze. "No, I mean yeah, I'm fine." Khushi answered, appearing bewildered.
The announcer then announced, "If Khushi Gupta, our bride of the day would please come to the front. Please, thank you." Khushi looked to Arnav with pleading eyes, "Please don't disclose me. I made a mistake by entering. I don't know if he's the right guy. What if he says no? I'll become a fool in front of family." She started to cry, when Arnav stroked her. How could someone say no to someone as perfect as her? She had long, dark hair with the perfect, curvaceous figure. Her voice was soft like a feather, but firm. Her eyes were warm and melting, and rouge lips were tempting and sensational. He was broken by a daze, when a girl came in, asking for Khushi. She led a desperate Khushi away, as she continued to look at him with pleading eyes. He mouthed a silent, "Don't worry." to her as she left.
The show was about to start in two minutes. The bride, Khushi, had washed her tearful face, and coped with her situation. She had already committed the mistake by signing up and now she would have to pay for it. She totally didn't know what she was in for. The bridal music started to play when she really realized what happening around her. She took a deep breath. The announcer then introduced her to the show. Here she was, in a bridal outfit on national television waiting for the reply that would change her life. "So what makes Armaan so special that you would like to give him your precious hand in marriage?" the host asked. She didn't know. What was the answer? No, there wasn't a textbook definition. But she didn't have an answer. She scratched her head and replied, "Um well, he's sweet and loves me. He pampers and adores me." She wished this was true. He did love her, but pamper and adore? Haha, in her dreams.
The audience clapped at the lovey-dovey response of the bride. Then, the host opened the church doors to an astounded Armaan, who was quite bewildered by the scene awaiting him. "Um, Khushi, I though we were going on a date." He said, confused. The audience giggled at his statement, while Arnav rolled his eyes in disgust. How could he not have complimented how gorgeous she was looking in her bridal attire? What a jerk!
Khushi let out a fake, facetious smile. "We are, I guess. Armaan Khurana, will you marry me?" She raised her eyebrows, waiting for his response. Her palms began to sweat, while she gulped in fear. Armaan was surprised and shocked, and he consolingly replied, "Khushi, I love you, but marriage? Now? I don't think I'm ready sweetie." Khushi's eyes bulged wide, and then looked down in shame. Her cheeks and nose started to turn red in embarrassment, as tears began to brim her soft eyes. The audience gasped in astonishment! Khushi didn't know why she was so shocked. She was expecting it, wasn't she? Armaan turned his back to the chapel as he left the hall. The host then offered a hugs to Khushi, who was now ruined. She was a joke.
Arnav sympathized with Khushi for her situation. How could someone refuse to marry someone as perfect as her? He was confused on why he was smitten by her. He had met hundreds of girls, slept with most of them He was the most eligible bachelor of New York, and had all of the sexy girls in his right hand. What was so special about her? The next moment, as if out of a quick reflex not in his senses, he was on his knees in front of Khushi.
"Ms. Khushi Gupta, will you please marry me?" He held her hand, and was holding a solitaire diamond ring his hand, pointed to her left ring finger. The finger was supposed to be connected directly to the heart, but they didn't even know each other.
Khushi was confused, and not even in her senses. She blinked in amazement, and didn't know what was going on. She let out a silent nodded, her eyes flickering with happiness as her honor was saved and she was proposed to by the hottest man in New York, Arnav Singh Raizada, the owner of Love Productions.
The marriage proceeded as Arnav accepted Khushi as his wife, and Khushi accepted Arnav as her husband. They exchanged rings, and were then officially released into the public as Mr. and Mrs. Raizada.
The newly wedded couple then left the chapel, leaving the audience in awe and wonder. Had they known each other before? How? Were they friends? Dozens of questions abounded their minds. They wanted answers, but remained silent for the sake of the beautiful moment.
The press and paparazzi bombarded the couple with questions on how they met, or even if they had met before. The couple wisely dodged the kiss. Then, the press asked for a kiss between the two. Then, to seal the questions and queries on whether they were a real couple or not, Arnav and Khushi pulled each other into a long, passionate kiss. They tongues tied, and eyes closed with the deep, sensational kiss. Arnav's strong hands held Khushi curvaceous waist, as they immersed themselves into the kiss. Khushi cupped his face. Then, the couple broke apart as the crowds cheered them on. The two blushed, as they realized that they just kissed a stranger. Wait, they weren't. They were man and wife. What was worse was that they both secretly enjoyed the kiss more than they had have taken sweet pleasure of a kiss before. Arnav then secretly licked his lips once more to get a final taste of Khushi's luscious lips.
A black Rolls Royce awaited them at the doors, and they were now bound for their nuptial night at the Plaza hotel. Arnav smiled at the cameras, and laid out his hand in front of Khushi. He smiled at her lovingly, "Shall we, honey?" An amazed Khushi placed her soft hand, which was now gleaming with the solitaire diamond ring on it, on his hand. They then entered the vehicle, waving their last goodbyes to the crowd.
Khushi sighed, as she realized. She was now officially married to a stranger.
