The Knight and the Fairy meet:
Hola everyone,
I think everyone agrees that today's epi was far more entertaining than yesterday's.
It's a trend these days in popular shows that the auspicious meetings of the leads is sketched in dargah. We have witnessed something similar today in the show.
The Knight and the Prince.. the unbreakable bond of two half-brothers.
They remind me of Lord Rama and Lakshman of Hindu mythology. Woh dono bhi sage bhai nahi the, lekin jab bhi bhai-chaare ki baat aati hai toh log inhi ke misaal dete hain. Asad and Ayaan are ready to set an example breaking the stereotypes.
Ayaan sees Asad as his father figure, which perhaps he misses that from his own father (played by an excellent actor Vaquar Sheikh, a good move by PH). He treats him like a friend, father figure, mentor and yes, partner in crime too. In the later part of the story we see that Ayaan's immediate sisters have a soft corner for their Asad bhai too. Asad on the other hand, pampers his baby brother yet keeping the reins of his steps in his hands for his safety. A surreal relationship where they confide in each other and share anything and everything, from bikes to babes. And there teases a question; the kind of a woman that the Knight desires. He never gave a though obviously, until...
One glance, one look.. and the time stopped for the Knight.
There sat the Fairy in red, embellished with the jewels that enhanced her beauty. The Knight was mesmerized indeed but did not lose his composure like the Prince. And that very control made him realize that she is a bride. The adornment was not just meant to be seen like that. Her tears tore him somewhere, he could actually empathize with her. That's his nature. He would have felt the same if there is someone else other than Fairy in that place. He immediately rose his hands due respect to Him and when his finished, he saw her disappear. Like magic, it all happened in few minutes. She appeared and then disappeared.
Was he disappointed?
No. Definitely not.
Allah ki jo raza hai woh usse qubool hai.
He didnt believe in grabbing the opportunity wiith both the arms and think about that one moment like the Prince.
It was just a small moment. He saw someone, it was something different. And then, that's it.
Then as the fate would have it... the world is such a small place. And as the Prince said to the goons, the Fairy might have reached the place she was meant to be. And then, she was.
The time stopped for knight again. The same woman. This time he had a talk.. Clash of Ideologies i'd say. The two important words used were 'tehzeeb' and 'pabandi'. The age old conflict. The Fairy was right in her place but the Knight wasnt wrong either. It's easy to chose between right and wrong' and equally difficult to chose between two rights. Kaun kehta hai ki waqt ke saath sab ko badalna chahiye? Nahin. Haalaat ke saath badalna chahiye. Aur Zoya aur Asad ki ye pehli mulaqaat mein jo ladaii hui hai, ek din woh ek doosre ko maanenge' halaat ko madde nazar rakhte hue. Asad may go by Zoya's ideology of breaking boundaries and Zoya may actually like the cultured talks of Asad. But it has a long way to go.
Dialogue of the Day: "Mere zakhm itne asaani se nahi bharte" Asad's one dialogue and it said it all.
Precap: The wounded Knight turns megalomaniac at his Father. The hurt, so deep, so intense. Excellent acting by Karan S. Grover.
