salman or john? who's getting married?

With Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor tucking away in martial bliss after a week of elaborate celebrations and photo-ops, we shift the spotlight to B-town's five most-eligible bachelors, who we think should get hooked.

And, topping our list is the macho star Salman Khan, who after being all mushy on-screen is reluctant to finalise his marriage plans.

Despite enjoying a prolific love life with an impressive line-up of pretty girlfriends, the actor has always eluded wedlock. With his age ticking away and all his peers settling in matrimony, we think it's about time this Khan tied the knot too.

Although his dad Salim, famous siblings and celeb pals have voiced their desire to see him wedded, this star has never shown any incline to get hitched.

He's happy playing bachelor, even at 46 years of age. Although there has been random claims from the actor that "marriage might happen to him any day", we still haven't seen any work towards it.

John Abraham

Soon after splitting with his once, long-time girlfriend (and actor) Bipasha Basu over loyalty issues, muscle man John has fallen head over heels in love with his gym partner Priya Runchal. Interestingly, for a man who walked out of his earlier relationship due to his reluctance to settle down, John and Priya are alleged to be engaged just months after dating.

In fact, the rumour mills are abuzz with his wedding, which many insist will be held this year. Although predictions for an August or September have been incorrect, it's confusing whether John will actually go down on his knees this time round.

When Emirates24/7 spoke to him earlier this year, he quipped, "I'm married… in my head".

"Honestly, without evading the question or being politically correct, I don't know when I'm going to get married, but the fact is there's an intention," he had admitted.

Shahid Kapoor

Now, that his ex-lover Kareena Kapoor has got married, all eyes on Shahid Kapoor. Has he finally given up hope for a reconciliation? And, will he now speed up his search for a soul mate?

Although he has been linked to almost every single women in the celeb world, Shahid has been tight-lipped about his love life after parting with Kareena.

From 'Kismet Connection' co-star Vidya Balan to tennis star Sania Mirza, the media played cupid for this bachelor. But if industry insiders are to be believed it is his 'Kaminey' co-star Priyanka Chopra, who he has skipped a heart beat for.

Their romance, however, has crumbled under the pressure. And, while it lasted, the two neighbours had teamed up for a coffee ad, and a few movies as well. But unlike other B-town lovers, these two have put their past behind and continued to work amicably.

Shahid, we hear, has moved on to 'Rockstar' actress Nargis Farkhi. So, will he skip the dating trail and go straight in for the real thing? We think so.

Ranbir Kapoor

He has been crowned the Casanova of the new B-town brigade, with reports of how swiftly he charms gorgeous, glam dolls surfaced after his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone certified it on national television.

So, while Deepika was nursing a broken heart and an irrelevant "RK" tattoo, Ranbir was busy charming other glam dolls. Stories of his hook-ups with new babes-on-the-block, Nargis, Illeana and Angela Johnnson made the rounds, with Ranbir secretly enjoying his new title and refusing to ever clarifying his relationship status.

However, it is his 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' co-star Katrina Kaif who has changed his game plan. Their late-night rendezvous and his mom Neetu's fondness for the actress, makes us believe that theirs might soon end up in 'happily ever after'.

Ranveer Singh

After the Kapoor lad, the next in line to get hooked is Ranveer Singh. Despite his love affair with his 'Band Baaja Barat' partner fizzling out even before they could endorse it, we think there's a chance that the lanky star might patch-up.

Looking at the number of times Ranveer and Anushka have patched-up and split, it might not be incorrect to predict that they might finally end up together.

Even while the media is busy trying to play spoilsport in this romance by pitching star-kid Sonakshi Sinha against Anushka, we think Ranveer might go in for the latter, only because they share a more grounded outlook on Bollywood and celebdom.
