Did read your update and you have all valid quest. Between adopted vs biological, parents specially mothers feelings and yes since they started PV for some reason, this should to be well taken care of as kids of both spouses plays big part in success and failure of any remarriage. And their interactions and feeling can't be overlooked as here creatives are doing all the time.
