On Tuesday, February 10th, Tej Pratap Yadav, the estranged son of Lalu Prasad Yadav and a former Bihar Minister, declared his intention to offer financial aid of Rs 11 lakh to actor Rajpal Yadav. This announcement followed Rajpal Yadav's surrender on Thursday, leading to his incarceration in Delhi's Tihar Jail due to a Rs 9 crore debt and a related cheque bounce case.
The legal issues stem from 2010, when Rajpal Yadav secured a Rs 5 crore loan to fund his directorial debut, "Ata Pata Laapata." The film's poor performance at the box office allegedly triggered financial difficulties, culminating in the current legal proceedings.
