Movie Review: Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu
It's one of those movies where dance sequences are in exotic locations, the costumes are vividly coloured and the action stunts are superb. It's one of those films where you go to the theatre expecting whistles when the 'hero' thrashes the villains and the loud song tracks make even your seats vibrate.
Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu is a film that falls in the action genre and Pawan Kalyan's electrifying performance is the main attraction in the film. Puri Jagannath's message-oriented story and punch dialogues, Mani Sharma's hit music, excellent camerawork by Shyam K. Naidu's, stunning choreography of dance sequences, Bramhanandam's comedy, attractive artwork and an extensive flaunt of costumes make it highly watchable.
This film can be called a political satire. It throws light on caste based politics rampant in our country. It shows how politicians creating divisions in the society in the name of caste for their vote bank. Puri Jagannath has used his politically charged dialogues to condemn current scenario of politics.
The story revolves around the protagonist Rambabu (Pawan Kalyan) who is out to make justice prevail wherever he notices wrong. Ganga (Tamanna), who is a technician in a TV channel, asks Rambabu to join her office as a journalist after he involves in a couple of student conflicts over caste dispute. Meanwhile, Ranababu (Prakash Raj) enters politics as an heir of his father (Kota Srinivasa Rao).
Mani Sharma's music is the main highlight and his compositions like 'Jorramochinde' and 'Extraordinary' will successfully give you the typical film of a South Indian film. After Pawan Kalyan's hit performance in Gabbar Singh, Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu was the most anticipated movie this year.
