The entire unit of Zindaggi Rocks runs pell mell as Sushmita Sen bows in prayer before a snake on the sets

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is known for her faith in divinity. Recently, the unit of her forthcoming film Zindaggi Rocks had some proof of it.

Director Tanuja Chandra and her unit was shooting an important scene for her film at a suburban pub. Suddenly there was mayhem among the unit and everyone began rushing from one end of the room to another. The reason was a huge snake coiled up at the edge of the dance floor.

"I was petrified," says Tanuja, when asked about the incident. "I didn't know what to do. I am not the kind of person who loves wild creatures. So I simply stood still, as I've heard that you should not move when you see a snake."

All unit members were screaming and running out. That's when Sushmita came forward to find out what was wrong. "I was surprised to see that Sushmita was the only person who stayed back in the room," Tanuja says.

In fact, Sushmita requested producer Anuradha Prasad from BAG Films not to throw the snake out of the room. "Anuradha and I were looking at each other, stunned," says Tanuja. "We didn't know what she was getting at."

Soon Sushmita walked up to the snake. "As she went closer, the snake hissed. We all moved back, but Sushmita went down on her knees and closed her eyes. She bowed before the snake and chanted some mantras," says Tanuja. While Sushmita prayed, crew members remained transfixed.

Once she was done, Sushmita asked everyone to restart the shooting and not disturb the snake. "We were surprised to see that the snake didn't move from that place for few hours. Later, it left quietly," says Tanuja.

Sushmita is a firm believer of Goddess Kali and Lord Shiva. "She told us that it's auspicious for a snake to come to your house. We all were left impressed by her bravery and faith," says Tanuja.

In this film, Sushmita plays the role of a rockstar while her love interest Shiney Ahuja plays the role of a doctor. When contacted Sushmita Sen, said, "I am a firm believer in Lord Shiva. The snake is considered very auspicious, so I asked everyone not to get scared of nag devta. I assured Tanuja that with the blessings of nag devta the film is bound to rock."

She said she felt truly blessed that day. We have a feeling that the snake must have had a great time too!

wow...ya that is pretty interesting

hey they should not promote such things ...unnecessary people will start thinking something superstitious ...

by the way im thinking how about a movie NAGINA with sushmita sen 😉

god she is so brave i'd probably faint if i saw one, i hope i don't see one either!!

guys there is nothing to be like charmer sort of things...its normal that when u shall see a snake u have to remain calm and dont loose your control ...actually this filmi people make a mountain of mustard seed..we dont belive day todt gossip mills of stars ...then why the hell we would belive this...i dont belive this...i think this is an tailor made story.
