When asked about her view on importance of women education, Sandhya shares five simple reasons:

Education is extremely important for women, as it acts as an entry point to various other opportunities and indirectly helps in reducing poverty.

It allows women to learn many things, starting from simple chores to building complex thoughts, which facilitates their growth and development.

More often than not, educated women help in creating awareness about various problems in our society and help in fixing them.

Also, by educating themselves, even if it just taking up hobbies like music, art, foreign language study, crafts , or reading, women can help make an important contribution to the society in many ways.

Education provides an understanding of basic nutrition, health and family planning to women. This gives them the power to choose and make decisions, for a better future.
