By every passing second arnav could feel his life drain out of him. Where was she, no no nooo, NOOO way in hell would he ever let anyone touch her, come near her. Arnavs eyes were red with anger, the vain on his forehead was about to pop any minute, he kept running, here and there as far and as long his legs allowed him to go.

Suddenly he saw a girl fully drenched in a black jumpsuit sitting near the pavement of river thames.

Arnav: OH NO SHE DIDN'T!

He couldn't believe she made him go through hell and here she was sitting with a calm expression on her face admiring the freaking sea as if she had all the time in the world to do that and without any care of the world.

Arnav: what the hell are you doing here?

His voice thundered through the rain and made her turn in shock, she never knew he would come looking for her. His state clearly explained that he had been running a marathon, his deshelved hair, his crumpled shirt sticking out abruptly from his trouser, his heavy breathing and his eyes' yes that's exactly where she stopped!

She saw a mix of emotions, from relief, to anger, to concern and most importantly protection.

Arnav constantly kept looking at his right and left to make sure she was safe, they were safe.. just bcoz they came to London does not mean rodger wont follow.

Khushi: I just needed to clear my head and I '

Arnav: AND U WHAT KHUSHI! U decided u will have a nice long walk not giving a damn of what I will go though when I don't find u in the hotel, AND THAT TOO without informing anyone.

Khushi: whats the big deal arnav I am an adult I don't need supervision.

Arnav: DAMN WELL U DO!! DO U HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT U MADE ME GO THROUGH

Khushi: I just came for a walk arnav NOT.A.BIG.DEAL. I did not runaway refusing to face my responsibilities.

She misunderstood him, she bloody misunderstood the entire f*****g situation.

Arnav: responsibility???/

Now they were standing face, arnavs face adorned a BIG question mark. He didn't understand what was she saying and what does she mean by responsibilities!!

Khushi: yes arnav responsibilities, I am not ur freaking puppet that u order me around everywhere. I get it we r getting married and u like imposing ur rights on me but all this is too much for me to handle.

Arnav: I am imposing rights on u, I AM!! MISS KHUSHI GUPTA THERE IS A GROUP OF HUNGRY BAS*****S OUT THERE WAITING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO GRAB YOU AND FOR THAT THEY ARE PAYING SUCH A FU**INGLY HEAVY AMOUNT THAT NOT EVEN GOD CAN SAVE YOU. AND HERE U STAND TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS TO ALL THIS ACCUSING "ME" THE ONE WHO IS RISKING HIS FU****G LIFE FOR "YOU". Arnav was breathingly heavily, he needed air, he had said it all, OUT LOUD, his fears of losing her, her being taken away, him dying' it all looked like a story taken from some stupid romance/thriller novel where the guy has to protect the girl from evil and that too sneakily..

Khushi all the while could just manage to open her eyes "WIDER" at every revelation. Yes he was right, she shud have waited and talked to him first. But who could have guessed something like this.

Khushi: ar'arnav..

She tried to touch him but he moved back. The moment he moved back khushi realized what an important part he had become in just afew days, his refusal to let her touch him and get consoled by him broke her. Although khushi was strong very strong and never needed anyone to lean on or to be by her side but since the day she had shared her feelings with him she felt nice, she felt safe, consoled, understood but right now it was the opposite of all these words.

They stared at each other arnav in anger and khushi in disbelief..

Finally he had told her everything but this is not the way he wanted things to come out infront of her, he didn't want to scare her but he did and she looked like a 10 year old who believed that a monster lived under its bed and refused to shut her eyes out of fear.

She stared at him and approached again, trying to get some sort of physical contact, so many questions running haphazardly in her mind but right now she needed him but to her dismay he moved back again and that's when she lost all her strength and collapsed. Before she could hit the ground she felt someone hold her and she knew it was "him". She threw her limp bodies weight on his, her head on his chest, her hands by her side "dead", his hands around her waist supporting her.

He slowly lowered them down and sat on the road supporting her weight and although she didn't hold him back but he knew she refused to let go of him right now.

The rain poured on the two lifeless souls hanging on to each other, arnav time to time had to check if khushi was crying but she remained the same with no change. Now he started to worry, she shud show some change, scream, cry, ask questions but no. it was as if she was sticking to his title "black bryony".

Arnav now felt bad, she wasn't aware of all this and his anger got the worst out of him again. He made her go through this hell she is in now. He cudnt hate himself more, he had called akash and NK and they had arrived. Seeing the two lifeless souls akash and NK exchanged worried looks, none of them knew what the future held and how the two figures, sitting in the middle of the road in heavy rain pouring down, would survive this storm.

Arnav held khushi in his arms and started walking towards the car, he gestured the 2 friends to take him back without uttering a single word. He sat behind, khushi still in his arms but by now she had closed her eyes and he didn't mind the silence, he was exhausted and dead tired by fighting mentally.

Payal and lavanya were told to wait in arnavs suit so when they saw a lifeless khushi and a drained arnav their first reaction was worry and later came the 20 questions. What, why, how, when, whom'.

Arnav was in no mood to answer any questions right now so he quietly instructed payal to change khushis clothes and he had already laid her on her bed. He knew which room she must have chosen if she stayed so he straight away brought her to the room that had the seas view and went to his room through the connecting door from khushis room.

NK and akash knew it was best to let him be alone for a while and gather himself up so they left for their respective rooms after making sure the girls were fine.

Payal: I want to stay with khushi tonight.

Payal politely told akash and indirectly asked for permission and for sure he loved this action of hers. He placed his hand on her shoulder and nodded a yes after that he planted a loving kiss on her forehead.

Akash: good night.

Payal: g'night.

And he retired after receiving the most beautiful, braces free smile from payal that made his heart melt. He knew how it felt wen ur best friend was in some mess. He so wanted to be there for arnav but he knew it was best to leave him alone.

After 15 minutes arnav came to khushis room thinking everyone must have left but to his distaste payal sat there caressing khushis hair. No doubt he was glad that khushi had a friend like payal but HE wanted to be in payals place at the moment.

Payal understood the way his eyes kept looking at her moving hand and stood up.

Payal: do u want me to leave?

Arnav: do u trust me with her?

Payal: *payal smiled politely, this was her habit, asking a question instead of answering one* yes I do.

With that she walked out if "their" suit and left them alone for the night!

Arnav was still in his wet clothes and the AC was making him shiver. He ignored this fact and went and sat beside khushi. She was frowning while sleeping and he did not like this a bit! He gently traced his fingers over her forehead to get the worry lines out of there and indeed he succeeded. He could see her calm face which looked just like a small babies. He knew the entire strong and indifferent mask on her face was to protect herself from the world. He knew from her reports that her fathers loss broke her completely and she had to rebuild herself. But he couldn't do anything to make her go through this with ease. He knew knowing this truth is like living through hell. Afraid to be alive, more than him he was worried for her.

He silently stood up and went to lie down on the sofa opposite her bed, still in his wet clothes, food forgotten, medicines forgotten, with only one thought in his mind "khushi". He would not let his daffodil fade away like that. He had to come up with something and that too fast.

It was early morning and sun had not risen up yet. Khushi opened her eyes and could not register the place where she was. Them it all came down on her, the revelation, the ugly truth and when she couldn't recognize the place she panicked.

Khushis: ARNAV!!!!!

The first thing that came in her mind was him, he did tell her if they took her he will be killed.

Khushi: ARNAV!!!!

Khushi hadn't seen him sleeping on the couch and had started crying now, arnav woke up from her screams and within seconds he was next to her holding her as close to himself as I he could. If it was possible khushi wud have melted in his arms.

Khushi: arnaaavvv'.

Arnav: ssshhh.. its going to be ok, im here, next to u, we r going to be fine. Everythings going to be fine.

Arnav kept on assuring her and she kept weeping. After a good 5 minutes she realized his body was hot, extremely hot, she abruptly pulled back and saw him pout at her actions. After suppressing her smile she put a stern face and checked his forehead for any sign of fever.

Arnav could see the change of emotions on her face, he knew she was hiding her smile on his pout, then concern, then worry and then came the huge eyes popping out of their sockets.

Khushi: U HAVE FEVER.

Arnav: what.. no!

Khushi: yes u have fever' and why haven't u changed ur clothes, u changed mine then why not urs!!!

In this entire sentence he only caught the change clothes part, she was ok with him changing her clothes.

Arnav: payal changed ur clothes khushi.

Khushi: oh' but u have fever!

Arnav: wait ill get u water.

Khushi: U HAVE FEVER'.

Arnav: yes I know khushi'. First drink water and then we will get to other issues.

Khushi: but'. U have high fe- ARNAV!!!

The next moment she saw arnav collapse on the floor, she quickly got up from bed and ran towards his unconscious body.

Khushi: arnav, arnav, arnav get up dammit!!!

She knew he was diabetic and she was so sure he didn't take his medicines so she ran to his room and started searching for them. It was 4 am in the morning and she knew everyone wud be asleep. When she finally found his medicines she crushed a tablet and mixed it in water and tried to make him drink that water.

Khushi: what shud I do now, I need to change his clothes.

She somehow managed to put him in bed "her bed" turned the AC to heater as his body was cold now and he was shivering. Living in the bollywood industry khushi knew what had to be done in such situation. But how could she give him BODY HEAT coz that wud mean hugging his naked form to her naked form. But at 4 30 am in the morning nothing else could have happened, she knew he was a sugar patient and if she didn't act soon she would be the reason of his death not the ppl after them.

She slowly unbuttoned his shirt, one by one, hell he had SIX PACKS' DAMN IT! When did he ever get time to hit the gym, she was SHOCKED to see a tattoo on arnavs right arm, it said "ASR" and was written in a highly sexy way.

Khushi had seen many guys, actors shirtless and very much drool worthy but this person in front of her was a Adonis Xerox copy.

Now the most difficult part was to get his pants off, how much khushi wanted to open up the ground and bury herself in it. Couldn't he have chosen a better time to faint. She switched off all the lights and closed the curtains, refraining any source of light to come in the room.

Now even more big of a difficult part SHE HAD TO UNDRESS HERSELF.

She took off her shirt and saw that payal had made her wear her favorite red net bra ""DAMN U PAYAL""

Then she took off her pyjammas and saw the matching thong'. "YES THONG" who makes a unconscious person wear such sexy inner wears under a night suit.. oh wait "PAYAL DOES, A PERSON WHO IS HIGHLY OBSESSED WITH SUCH SEXY "ITEMS" AS SHE LIKES TO PUT IT IN SUCH WORDS"

After finally making up her mind khushi stepped inside the 2 quilts she had covered arnav with. The moment she felt her stomach against his chest "SHE SHOULD HAVE PANICKED *RIGHT*" no she didn't!!! she felt as if it was her right to be there, in his arms, sans any clothing'. In the silent room she could feel her heartbeat beating ferociously and she thought her heart might come out of her chest any minute.

Ok so she hadn't planned on touching him but who is to blame when a certain SEXY RAIZADA* for amy* and his six packs attract u crazily. Now she was glued to him and could feel his shivering slow down and his body temperature was slowly coming back to normal. Leg to leg, waist to waist, chest to chest and arms around his toned abs khushi felt blessed. She had never been so shameless with anyone, hell she had always been composed and not lusted for anyone but if this certain sexy raizada planned to take her there and then she knew she wudnt mind.

She lightly traced her hand on his scar under his eye brows and came down with feather light touches, his cheeks covered with his stubble, probably the entire thing must have gotten to him and he forgot to shave' she bit her lower lip brutally, she couldn't help but imagine how that would feel against her skin and she got up slightly and brushed her cheeks against his. She felt him shudder but she was sure he was still unconscious. She was grinning like a fool now, correction "shameless fool" . She then brushed her nose in his perfect features and that's when she felt him move. For a moment khushi stilled looking at his eyes but he in return hugged her tightly and hid his face in the crook of her neck , just like a child not wanting to be disturbed.

She chuckled and hugged him back keeping her head on his heart that was normally beating now and thats when she realized that SHE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR IT TO KEEP BEATING THIS WAY FOREVER.
