English Vinglish - Mehdi Nebbou might be unknown in India but he isn't in Europe.

Ishkq in Paris - Preity got the raw end of the deal, even if she wanted the spotlight on herself, a better, more known actor would have only helped her movie.

Aiyyaa - Prithvi is definitely not an unknown face but the movie required a south Indian actor hence the casting. Unless they had gotten a much better known actor like Mahadavan or Siddarth

Aaja Nachle - Are they forgetting that the movie had Akshaye Khanna in it?

Anyways, it's unfortunate that these talented actresses had to find other ways to get work unlike the 40+ actors who just sit on their bums and have work and pubescent actresses thrown at them. I am sure the actors movies will do much better had they starred the 90s heroines. At least in Hollywood, there seems to be no specific shelf life for an actress.
