Film industry is abuzz with the stories about Bollywood siren Tanushree Dutta having shaved her head and turning into a sanyasi by giving up her filmycareer.
Tanushree has also acted in Tamil - in Vishal'sTheeratha Vilayaatu Pillai - and in Telugu movies including Balakrisha's Veerabhadra.
The actress recently went on a self-imposed sabbatical and cut down on her work. Since she started working in B-town at the age of 16, the actress is said to have become fed up of showbiz and wanted some peace and quiet.
Like other celebrities such as Shriya and Shekar Kapoor, the ex- Miss India reportedly attended the Isha Yoga program at the foothills of the Vellingiri Hills near Coimbatore. The big-eyed beauty has always maintained being fond of practising yoga, as it keeps her calm and relaxed. Apparently, she is also a regular visitor at the Isha Centres in Kovai and Mumbai.
To everyone's surprise, Tanushree also expressed a desire to go bald and take up spiritualism.
"To take a break from pressure, ruthless people, heartbreak and heartburns, I've taken this decision. This will also hide my identity while travelling in public and help me remain incognito," she is said to have remarked.
Reportedly, she has already taken the first step by sporting a closely cropped crew cut and is determined to go completely bald soon. She calls it her period of self-introspection. Tanushree could not be contacted for her comments despite a few attempts.
