All this while, we have been putting in our point of view!

Now, let us put ourselves in Deepa's shoes and speak.

-Definitely she doesn't want to get married before her education, but Praba is the one who gave her this education.

-She is not in love with anyone. They have clearly shown that.

-She doesn't know that Kanagu still loves her.

What would be your reactions and thoughts if you were in Deepa's position that night?

You have to get married that night because your family is for it.

as far as Deepa's character its been portrayed as a brave girl.. take decision well.. respecting her parents.. but seems like she has started feeling slightly for Kanagu.. and Prabha also seems sad and shocked may be its like his parents are behind bars he will do wat they ask him for..

and deepa will also do the same going with her parents decision i think

From deepa's POV, most of the points u have mentioned yrself gisel...

for deepa her father's words are "vedhavaaku"

she has been always insisting that she cant think of love and marriage as her family depends on her education to a large extent...but that scenario has now changed as can be seen by VR's flourishing business and the way his family is now dressed and from the way he has lined up cars along with drivers in front of lax's house..and the person behind all this- laxman...

maybe this is why they have taken time show VR's words of gratitude over and over again...his physical health and wealth are thanks to laxman...

so VR obliging laxman when in need is highly understandable and that being the case, deepa the girl she is, obliging her father is also understandable...def she is not in love clearly with anyone and now praba's case is highly sensitive..

the reason laxman suggested prabha's marriage is also that at least akhil has a family with him but with both parents jailed, prabha wd be totally lost and considering he knows that prabha and deepa know each other, the idea seems practical...there is a mandap ready, arrangements done, so quite logical thinking...

and deepa though still unclear whther to reciprocate kanagu's love or recognise her own feelings will surely want to honor her father's words... deepa's identity is with her father's..that is clear...

this is how i have understood the situation..let us see how the CTs treat it...

Something to consider is Laxman and Prabha have helped Deepa and her family in many ways and Laxman is wealthy.

But Kanagu loves her

I don't know...poor Deepa...

It is really a good question what could be Deepa's point of view in this case. Definitely we see in the promo that, her father tells about Deepa marrying Prabha. But that is all we see. It is quite possible Deepa could say what she wants. And we also know she wants to study and not marry immediately. Based on what we have seen about VR, he has been an understanding father unlike many dads in the serial and he gives importance to Deepa's POV. Once Deepa tells, she doesn't want to marry it is possible VR will consider that. Also is Prabha ready to marry? He is also a considerate person. Will he marry against Deepa's wish? Also we know Deepa won't hesitate to tell her POV as she is brought up to be a bold girl.

Through all this, one has to see another point also. It is true Prabha has given her education and Laxman helped her dad in the business. Still Deepa can't be forced to marry telling she has to be obliged to Laxman and Prabha. There are other ways Laxman and Prabha could be helped. Even if Deepa has telepathy communication with Prabha, Deepa's feelings have to be considered.

Has she feelings for Kanakku? We know Kanakku has feelings for Deepa. If Deepa marries Prabha now, I don't want to see what Kanakku does after being heartbroken.

Agreed that she is a bold girl, but the question will she voice her opinion when her dad brings up this marriage proposal and knowing what has happened in the hall? Let us assume she stays quite agreeing for the marriage, what would happen if Joseph blurts out the truth, will she change her mind?

I think Deepa will agree while Praba says no...A wild guess😛!
