I wouldn't even mind of the comparison if it was just and accurate. In fact, as far as I know many writers have experimented with the concept of love as depicted by these figures. The story of Devdas is one such concept of love as depicted by Radha/Krishna and Meera (I read it somewhere long time back). Facts were wrong to justify the PR storyline, if basic facts were true, I could have loved a healthy discussion. In order to compare the love in the show, no one can trivialize Radha's and Meera's love for Krishna (in my POV) when both their love has the same devotional strength, the same spirituality and resulted in the realization of Supreme Consciousness for both. The path (of divine love, not to mention in different eras) were different, but the realization was the same for both Radha and Meera. So, telling Meera's was Krishna's wife and that Krishna never loved her, are all wrong facts or saying Krishna and Radha were married because they loved each other (Simply because in the temple we have Radha/Krishna murtis) only distorts the real stories behind all these legends. Sorry, I wasn't able to read through the TM's post because all were wrong facts, so don't know what else was distorted.
