|| Mangalyam tantunanena mama jeevana hetuna: kanthe badhnami subhage twam jeeva sarada satam
||

"This is a sacred thread. This is essential for my long life. I tie this around your neck O maiden having many auspicious attributes. May you live happily for a hundred years (with me)."

You're there by my side
In every way
I know that you would not forsake me
I give you my life
Would not think twice
Your love is all I need believe me

I may not say it quite as much as I should
When I say I love you darling that means for good
So open up your heart and let me in

And I will love you 'til forever
Until death do us part we'll be together
So take my hand and hold on tight
And we'll get there
This I swear

I'm wondering how I ever got by
Without you in my life to guide me
Where ever I go the one thing that's true
Is everything I do I do for you

I may not say it half as much as I should
When I say I love you darling that means for good
So open up your heart and let me in
And I will love you 'til forever
Until death do us part we'll be together
So take my hand and hold on tight
And we'll get there
This I swear

So whenever you get weary
Just reach out for me
I'll never let you down my love

And I will love you 'til forever
Until death do us part we'll be together
So take my hand and hold on tight
And we'll get there

And I will love you 'til forever
Until death do us part we'll be together
So take my hand and hold on tight
And we'll get there
Ohh we'll get there
This I swear

Many Congratulations to the newly weds Arnav and Khushi. ❤️

Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi

Milhi Gayi Wo Khushi
Thi jo humari Bagki
Chandh Sitare Apne Milan Ke Denge Misale
Aaj in charaon se Chaloan ye dualen
Sej Poolon Ki Sajaon Tumhe Haq Hai
Sang tum Sadiyan Bitaon Tumhe Haq Hai

Hum Jaantethi Aap Aayenge Jaantetai Humne akela nahi chodengi

Kahata na Jee Nahi Paaonga Tumhari Bina

The trust, Love, Commitment, Promises and everything played out well between the star crossed lovers Arnav and Khushi and they finally became one writing their destiny once again. She waited for him and he came as he knows she is for him and he is for her and importantly both cannot live without each other. Past is put to rest. Manipulations rest what remains is Love and they have come out in flying colors from the Agni Pariksha.

So officially with all rituals both got married and next what.. All SKD's ready by now😉😳

It was really a wonderful wedding to watch. Thanks IPKKND team for giving a happy day like last Friday🥳👏

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OFFICIALLY NEWLY WEDS -

ARNAV AND KHUSHI!!!

🥳 👏

Most of you who are regular readers of Redux and my posts would know that though I love both Khushi and Arnav, Khushi had a 0.1% edge over Arnav. Today, that 0.1% has changed to 0.0%. Arnav's choice, his final decision closed that 0.1% gap.

Today Arnav answered all my questions that I had asked in my post yesterday. Below are some of the questions and few dialogues that I had used as pointers in my post yesterday:

"Does Arnav have enough faith, trust and belief in their love to hope and believe that their love will get them through this catastrophic phase too?"

His choice, and decision today to come for Khushi out of love, to forget the past and move on in life, to honour, respect and trust their love seems to answer the above question of mine. Khushi's love, dedication, strength, belief, and trust in their love, in him, and In his love, coupled with his mother's words have helped Arnav strengthen his faith in their love.

"Un sawalon kay jawaab dhoond raha tha, jo ab tak miley nahi hai... Khushi tumne mujhe yaha khada kar kar, mere saare sawaalon ke jawab dila di."

Khushi has done something that hardly anyone else had ever been able to do - her faithful, faith-filled love triggered Arnav to take the path of Lavanya's words:

"Par agar tumhaare life main agar kabhi pyaar aa jaye, toh hold on to it ASR. Kyunki pyaar nafrat se bahut bada hota hai... Sabse bada hota hai... Make sure, ki tum usse apni life se kabhi jaane na do."

Khushi's love, and his mother's words to not hurt the person you love for no fault of theirs, helped Arnav overcome the burning rage, hatred and fury of the past. "Pyaar nafrat se bada hota hai..." Indeed... the strength of love made Arnav push away his agony and look forward to love. He chose love over hatred.

"Khushi, aaj main yaha sirf tumhaare wajah se khada hoon. Jaha Darad, Dhoka, aur Nafrat ke alaava aur kuch nahin hai!"

Quoting an excerpt from my post yesterday:

"He came here, only because of her... for them, for their love, for her unwavering trust in their love. He came to a place which was his home throughout most of his childhood until she came into his life - a place of hatred, pain, and betrayal. This was the one home Arnav was happy to leave behind after he had Khushi by his side."

It is Khushi's love that gave Arnav the strength to return to her. The flashbacks showed him the extent of her love for him, the depth of trust in their love that she held for them. His heart was riddled by demons of his past, but the innocence of her pure love pulled him to where he belonged - right with her, by her side, through the ups and downs of life.

In my post yesterday the question below was the one that I was most concerned about... quoting from my previous day's post:

The most important question of all though is, what is Arnav's decision, thought, or view regarding Garima? For me, it all hinges on that one point.

I hardly imagined that Arnav would be ready to forget about the past, to leave the past where it is, and to go ahead in life without blaming Garima. Again, in relation to this, allow me to quote few lines from my 25th September Redux post:

"Only time, and a few more episodes will tell us if Arnav will return to listen to Garima's side of the story, if he will let his mind think practically and rationally instead of letting his emotions tangle up his intelligence, if he will listen to his own motto - of letting things of the past be in the past, and if he will see that neither Garima, or the other woman had anything to do with his parents' deaths - that was their choice alone, they alone were responsible for it."

Well, we got our answer to this one too today with Arnav deciding to leave the past where it belongs - in the past! He thought about the whole situation unlike his previous habit of rushing into a decision based on emotions. this time, Arnav took his time, thought about everything, remembered the words, memories, and love of two women whom he loves so much - his mother and Khushi. The memory of Khushi's near death incident before his near accident, and whispering "Maa" after reviving from the crash cleared everything up for Arnav. His mother and Khushi helped him see how strong love could be if one had enough faith and belief in it. They taught him that love can save him from pain and hatred, if only he believed in it's strength.

I had also posed a question in the same post:

"He has realized in the past that 'seeing is not always believing' - he almost lost the girl he loved all due to believing in something he saw. Will he learn from that mistake this time around? I hope so, because it would be a lovely improvement for ASR as a character!"

He might or might not have believed the message in the photograph of his father with Garima. Whether he believed it or not, Arnav still holds his father responsible for his scarred past. The flashbacks taught him about the need and importance of Khushi in his life. "Main tumhaare bina nahin jee paoonga" he had told her the night before their marriage, and he repeats it today. She is his life, and without her, he is left devoid of his life. The past is his burden, not Khushi's. He chose to keep his love happy and alive instead of dragging his love into the scars of his childhood just because of a photograph of his father with Garima.

What I loved most was that uhm... there was a slight Khushification of Arnav... in a good way, obviously! The Khushification of Arnav was Arnav moving on in life despite a setback. The Khushification was also laid in his decision of absolving Garima for her deeds in the past, it lay in the way he focussed only on his/their love without dragging her family into the scars of his past, it was set in his decision to keep faith, trust, and belief in their love, to look forward hopefully, to be together... hameshaa! 😳

Edited to add:
For once, my prediction and positive view came true!! I had mentioned in my post yesterday that:

"
Arnav's mother's lesson of love, his flashbacks in the car, screaming out Khushi's name while remembering almost losing her and seeing the truck coming toward him, and whispering his mother's name as his head hit the steering wheel - all propelled Arnav to come to his marriage venue, to hold on to Khushi's drape/pallu, and in my opinion to marry her, out of love."

Jigging, dancing, and happy that hayye, my positiveness about this though laced with slight doubt regarding the Garima angle, came true!!

Arnav married my darling Khushi out of pure love!!

Awww... 😳

SCENE STEALERS

1. Khushi fainting: Aaah.. I'll never tire of these scenes where she falls and he catches her! Poor Khushi thought he was giving her the boot, but thankfully her fainting spell made him speed up to reassure her that her love brought him to her, and that her love also answered whatever questions/doubts he had in his mind.

2. Arnav's blood as Sindoor:
Oh-kay, though this one was filmi type, it was sweet because it was ArHi! 😛 Loved the way it dropped 'plonk' right near her maang! She was marked as his wife by his blood... Sighh... the bond of marriage sealed with his blood. Symboleesm!!

3. Khushi's wish/dream of Saat Phere came true:
Loved the blushing smile playing on her lips when she felt his eyes on her and when they took the pheras. Her dream wedding (albeit with a few unwanted bombs) had finally come true with her Rajkumar beside her!

4. Arnav's smile throughout the marriage: Yes Arnav bitwa, we know why 'you' were so happy to finally get to the last ritual of pheras! 😉 The previous night wasn't enough for Arnav it seems... 😛 Jokes aside, he was so happy to have finally come back to his sunshine of love! The light of her love which will erase the darkness from his life!

5. Garima-Daadi-Arnav: I'm not sure that this Garima past track is over. Daadi left with a sinister line "
Tum pachtaaoge..." she told Arnav. Also, Arnav still holds his father responsible - I still feel that his father was innocent. Evidently there is more to come regarding this track. It is too abrupt to close the track in such a way. Wait and watch for sometime policy I am adopting with regards to this... When will Arnav call Garima 'Amma'? Will the real truth ever be out? Who was the actual 'married man' Garima keeps talking about? Adhoora adhoora sa hai this track... it has to be completed!

6. Naani's advice to Arnav: Another big bear hug to Naaniji for telling Arnav that she hoped he had taken the decision to marry Khushi after giving it a good thought, and that he should not hurt, regret or pain Khushi in any way after marrying her. Naani truly really loves and adores Khushi. She has seen her breakdown, and knows how fragile this strong girl really is. Hugs to Naani for caring for Khushi so much! 🤗

7. Payal reminding Maami that she is by her sister's side all the way: Loved that Payal told Maami that by giving the gift to Khushi, Maami would be welcoming both her bahus, Khushi as well as Payal, back into the house. That's the sister we were so fond of and loved! Great to have Payal back since the past few episodes!

8.
Aakash finally getting extra lines!!: Oooh... i always liked Aakash and it was good to hear his voice for few extra seconds! Please do spend some time on developing PayAsh relationship too!!!

9.
Right foot forward for Khushi: This was my sabse, sabse, sabse favourite scene in the whole episode!!! Regular readers would know why, have harped about this so many times, chalo ek aur baar I'll harp about it! Like Anjali said, the first time Khushi stood at the doorstep of RM, debating which foot to put forward first, it was Anjali who guided her to enter the house with the 'right' foot. I always loved this as it always set the base for my 'harping' over Anjali-Khushi's bond that had started on the 'right' note! Khushi officially entered RM today as the daughter-in-law, wife, and sister-in-law by stepping forward with her 'right' foot again guided by Anjali! Come what may, Khushi-Anjali's bond will be stronger than ever, Shyamu will definitely fail if he ever tries anything between them!

10. Grih-pravesh ritual: How did Khushi forget about the groom carrying his bride over the threshold? They had done it last time! Anyway, the way this scene was shot it almost seemed like a "
and they lived happily ever after..." closing note. Itna ghabra gayi main, until I saw the precap which disusted me. Oh sorry, we were talking about the Grih-pravesh, na... yeah, "Mujhe itni bhi chot nahi lagi ki apni biwi ko utha na sakoon!" Awww Arnav, you keep flooring us... wished you had looked lovingly into her eyes while carrying her like you did after you revived her from her near-death at the cliff. Par chalo, maybe you were just concentrating on balancing her since I'm sure that lehenga must've been darned heavy! Thank gawd Sanaya is trim. 😃

12.
Shyam's disappointed, woe-begone, aiyyo-I-didn't-expect-this expressions: Oh my, how many of us pointed at him and laughed heartily? Another plan gone down the drain for poor Shyamu. He already has another one up his sleeve, my SKD on the precap is that Arnav Khushi start their one foot forward-one foot backward game until Khushi dashes/drops the bouquet in which the camera is hidden, thereby the camera toppling to the floor, facing the carpet... or Anjali will interrupt his b-lue movie plan by saying "Har vaqt kaam pe lage rehte hai... aap bhi na!!" slams his laptop shut and pouts! 😆

13.
Looks of pride, admiration, gratitude and joy on RM/GH members face for Arnav's decision: Almost forgot to include this one... It was so good to see the look of pride on Naani's face when Arnav told Khushi that he would like to marry her. The joy on Anjali's face when he looked at her and she nodded before he could tell Khushi about wanting to spend the rest of his life with her. The gratitude on GH members and Garima's face when they heard his decision! Totally lovely scene! 👏

I Choose FUTURE!!

"When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened."
John M. Richardson, Jr. quotes

Well you ask me how I am feeling.. My daughter got wedded today you know!! Should I say I am ready for Char Dham Yatra 😛..Hmm..

We were in the middle of a crisis in my office just the other day and situation was being escalated. It was then my coworker to boast me told this incredible analogy which she heard in her book club. Imagine an elephant and a rider upon it. The elephant is EMOTIONAL YOU and the rider is ANALYTICAL you. And compare them physically. What are the chances that the rider can win. Its always looks like the elephant will have an easy ride here.. But think about it.. Elephant always waits for the direction from the rider. Its dependent on him. So its up to the rider to pave the path.

Arnav:

Life if tangible. So many choices. So many situations. And every step every move defines our FUTURE. Its all stepping stones. Leads us some where. Is it our destination. We have carved the path isn't it. For Arnav its always one bumpy road. He has never got anything easy. He has to strive hard to achieve it. In every situation his is habitual reaction. He takes everything in, gets overwhelmed, anger or frustration (basically negative emotions) takes over him. He drives on a lonely dark path. Middle of road. Throws our all his frustration. His emotional out burst which is witnessed by on one but him. And he perceives. Takes a decision and that is THE DECISION. He sticks to it. This is his reactive self. His mode of operation. But are all situations the same. Is he the victim of every situation. Does he have to bear the burnt all alone. Each situation there was something different. It was for him to identify that. There as always a source of light. It was for him to see that. If he had latched on to the positive aspect, things would be different for him long back.

OK at least now. History repeated itself. Again he was in the middle of crisis. Past and Present facing each other. And future on hold. But in all this there was a window of opportunity. Bright and Shining. Khushi. It was upto him to make a choice. Will he look back or move forward. This time he did the right thing. He chose FUTURE. Drum Rolls Please. Right decision.

Khushi:

Can you put in mere words the feeling of immense trust. That you know in your heart of hearts that he will come. Its that deep faith in your love. The relief after you feel you were almost stood up. Left on your own. To defend your faith, your love to the world. In every situation so far she is merely a pawn. She has been a victim of circumstances. Everything revolves around her but she has no control over the situation. All she can do is try to diffuse the situation or concede to the fate. But in all this something was happening. In her favor. Her dream man. He was walking towards her. Their bond was getting stronger. They LOVE was growing stronger. So strong that today her knight in shining armor has shunned his past, looked beyond that, walked past it towards her. She has taken several blows. Hitting her pretty hard. Her character was maligned, existence questioned. But she held herself high in every situation. She has passed every test. And finally she is now officially Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada. Wow What an incredible journey it is.

My heartiest Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada. You deserve each other. You are meant for each other. Nothing can change that.

For me it almost looked like it was grand finale. I felt as if I read the last page of this book. And I am waiting for the release of sequel. It just focused on the completion of their wedding. They crossing all boundaries to be together. Now what ever it is we will not view Arnav or Khushi. It will be Arnav AND Khushi.

This Post is from Sheila.. ENJOY!!

I don't know where or how to begin... every day was a gem... every episode a movie... the week started off with a promise but we were unfortunately dragged down in the past... we saw hope, despair, anger, blame, wrath, lust... but we so good truimph over evil... and love conquer all...

We witness the painful death of Chotte... the 14 yr old boy who witnessed the deaths of his parents...
And the truimphant rise from the ashes of Arnav Singh Riazada...
And most importantly we saw just how unconditional the love of Arnav and Khushi is...
Ladies and Gentlemen( oh do we have any of those) of the Redux...
Welcome to Sheila's Observatory from the week that was on IPKKND.
Ok so I debated on how I should frame this post just to be able to get it out... and I think a character view is the most straightforward method. So begining with the least important and ending with the most important...
If you are expecting lots of LOVE for the CV's and plot, well you will get that ... but there are some serious holes in the scripting that I will comment on as well... and they are serious...VERY VERY SERIOUS...
So Ladies are we ready for the mammoth post coming up...
First and foremost the planning of this week was impeccable after each episode my heart was in my mouth... infact yesterday I was so distraught(don't laugh at me) that after watching the episode I had to come on the redux and seek solance in those who were available... I didn't know if Khushi would be able to handle a rejection from Arnav. But I was sure... I was not going to be able to... not for one second... thankfully they reassured me (I have drama queen tendencies, you guys know that right). This was by far the best dramatic week in IPKKND history... very beautifully chalked out and interestingly struck together... each day represented a different view of each character breaking down so painfully and so beautifully... And so without further ado the character overiew...
Shyam Manohar Jha:
He is pleasently surprised... Dadi has outshone him in cruelty... and that is saying something... By exposing the truth so close to the marriage she has ensured that everyone suffers and badly... for revenge...for vengence... He doesn't even have to do anything just stand back and watch the cookie crumble... Play the part of the supportive husband and quietly enjoy the destruction of his biggest nemesis... and watch the girl that rejected him get discarded herself...oh the pleasure of this evening... for Shyam it is his master plan working... perfectly... like a symphany...
Then the unexpected happen Arnav showed up... but he is full of hate... very well...he is going to reject Khushi himself... that will be even better to watch... but that doesn't look like it is happening... time to call in reenforcements...when that doesn't work he tries his last resort... rani saihiba... but she has her blinkers on and refuses to turn her head in his direction... This battle is lost... Khushi has married Arnav ... BUT THE WAR WAGES ON...
Shyam was given very few shorts through this whole sequence, he really didn't have that much of a role to play... but the sadistic glee on his face watching Khushi's pain and Arnav's destruction was absolutely fabulous... this is called acting your part... to the T buddy... Abhass very very well done... you really have grown into your role as Shyam... infact your improvement is far more than Barun himself...
Mami:
OK I wasn't sure what the hell was up with Mami this week... I got that she was mad at Garima and being a black and white person that she blamed Garima... but she was unnecessarily vicious when she tells Khushi that Arnav will not come...At that moment a more stern character was needed, like the one who confronted Shyam about the divorce not the one who added salt in the sweets... I hope this makes sense... But Mami always puts the happiness of her kids in front of everything else. I loved the reminder at the end...their happiness is what is most important...
Buaji:

The truth about the woman who saved the lives of both her brother and niece was brought in front of her... but the helplessness of her sister-in-law broke her heart... she knows how selfless her S-I-L is, she doesn't have to be told only relive all the instances where she was witnessed it herself... And her heart went out to her... Today, her sanka devi had completly lost it... she just couldn't see her this way... so desperate that she was going mad, she slaps her... even though it kills her inside because Buaji herself can't take it... She can't... then everything gets better... suddenly the clouds clear and the rainbow in the form of Arnav returns... she can't believe it...she thanks the Gods and prays a silent pray... very very beautiful portrayal... I also like the silent communication of shock and disbelieve between brother and sister... it was beautifully done...

Shashi Gupta:

Many times in his life he has felt helpless... but this time his wife's past has ruined his daughter's future... he doesn't know what to make of it... but it is easy for him to forgive his wife...he only has to think about all the times she has stood by him in so many years... but watching Khushi kills him... his daughter who can be strong for everyone else is very weak for herself only he knows that... but he can't reach her... Arnav has penetrated her soul... she will die if he doesn't come...and he is trapped in the chair unable to reach her...
I am unhappy with the potray of Shashi through this week, he could have been better... just look an Shyam's engagement to Khushi and Khushi's marriage to Arnav scenes... the the latter you can see Shyam's trust in his daughter... he knows something has happened to make her do what she did... and Khushi knows she has his support...
Anjali Manohar Jha:
I have mixed feelings for this character... during the week I actually was quite annoyed by her presense... it was only today I kind of enjoyed her... I loved that she reminded Khushi about the first time she entered this house... it was wonderful... but I have a plethora of things that she did wrong...
so here goes...
1. Dialogues... "how could you do this to my mama, what did she do to you" really... it would have been much better if she said... I don't believe you are the other woman, you destroyed our lives did you even know the magnitude of what you did...
It is very very important for the audience to sympathize with Anjali... but everyday you distance her from us... I don't understand what happened... really if the negotiations with Daljeet were the issue you should have let her go...
2. Anjali is so busy in her own sorrow she has to be reminded that Arnav is not arrived... REALLY!!! this blew my mind... especially as it has been shown time and again that Anjali puts Arnav and her family before all...are you purposefully building the character to go grey? and then all she does is ask Akash to find him... that was terrible...
3. the whole Dadi confrontation when she returned today was terrible... that I will write later on...
4. And finally Daljeet... you should have quit... it would be better than the raw deal you are getting now... really is your fan base growing? instead those fans of yours who were loyal have also left...
NK:
NK may love the lighter side of life but today he showed us an emotional maturity that has not been seen on the show till date... he walked up to Mami and asked her not to make the situation worst if she can't make it better... I stood up and 👏👏👏. Really well done...
I loved how he stopped Khushi and begged her to stop it... loved it... he couldn't see the pain that was all around him...at the same time he was handling the situation as best as he could...
Karan... everyone can learn from you how to make 2 dialogues your own and resonate with the audience...
Naniji:
She stands broken... she lost her daughter because of this women... she doesn't know if she can forgive her... and then she realizes its not the dead she needs to worry about but the living... she knows what a monster Arnav used to be before and she knows that Khushi turned the beast into a prince... but now the circumstances are keeping them apart... she doesn't know how Arnav is handling it but all this is overwhelming her... Amidst all this pain and turmoil she looks up to see Khushi... the girl who selflessly sacrificed everything for Arnav... and her family... Khushi is loosing hope...she is crumbling...the girl who held everyone up was drowning... and just like that Naniji realized that Khushi's pain surpasses everyoneelses...she runs to her...offers her solance...telling her Arnav will be there...he will come... I can't tell you how much I loved this scene...
Naniji was playing the role of a good cop in front of Dadiji's bad cop... but can I just point out how ridiculous it sounds when two friends who are both in the 70's are not equals... this was done very poorly.

Akash Raizada:
He is a quiet man... be is thrives in the shadow of his brother... when the emotions start running high and his wife emotionally says that she will break all contact with him and his family he speaks up... everyone needs to calm down... he takes care of everything but he knows if his brother doesn't show up... picking up the pieces will be impossible. I also loved the awkwardness with Shyam... he doesn't trust him one bit... and it shows... he then rejoices in his brothers happiness... all is well that ends well.
Payal Raizada:
Payal is a tigeress when Khushi is concerned... if her husband trust his brother blindly then Payal protects Khushi blindly... today the sisters bond and the strength of it was on display... it is Payal who Khushi confides in ... it is Payal who she tells what hurt her the most... and that is why on the day of the first marriage Payal is disheartnend when Khushi refuses to tell her the reason of her marriage... Payal can't bear to see Khushi this way, she wants to take her home and protect her... she can't lie to her either...she gently pushes her to accept the truth... the bitter truth that Arnav would have come if he wanted to...
I loved that she tells Mami that with his gift she is accepting both her DIL's and just like Nani did all those years ago for her Son's happiness Mami did the same accepted them...
I loved PAYAL today... LOVED HER...
DADI:
First, which ashram did you go to lady... I want to go there and shut it down... for good... not only does she set a trap she also tries to vindicate herself... she only just found out about the past she tells Arnav but no she doesn't she has been sitting on it letting it hatch till the time was right for it to explode like a timebomb...
Finally, she has the power to blame the woman and not her son...finally she gets the revenge that she wanted... that day Anjali's marriage was distroyed today Khushi's will be... this woman is so cold hearted and horrible that for her happiness she has thrown her family into despair... there are many times people hid the truth from their loved ones to protect them... what does Dadi do???? she loves being right more than she loves anyone or anything... the smug delight of watching what she wanted happening in front of her was amazing... I literrally wanted to wipe the smile off her face...
There was never any hope Dadi was vindictive till the end...
Garima:
From the confusion on her face when she was holding the aarti waiting for Arnav...to understanding that she had been double crossed... to realizing that her dirty laundry was going to be washed in public, to realizing that her past had harmed her daughters future... to getting solance from the daughter who she should be apologizing to... to apologizing to a husband who saved her... to being unable to see her daughters pain and anguish... you were amazing...
This was a very demanding role this week and you played it to the t... I felt your pain... mothers often wonder if the decisions that they took for their children turned out for the best... mine always tells me that... we saw what happens when a mother's past harms her daughters present in you... Best performance yet...

Arnav Singh Raizada:

Arnav is rudely thrown back into the past... which he is trying very hard to bury... this turmoil was extremely well portrayed... I was right there with Arnav... ironically the fence in the background gave new mean to being on the fence about his decision... one part of him wants to just be the vindictive man he was... but Khushi changed him into who has become now...and hence he is now internally debating which way he should go... I can't even explain to you how well this resonated with me... this whole sequence or Arnav listening to his mothers words and understanding the meaning behind it was amazing... Arnav is healing that is why we are seeing more flashbacks of his time with his mother rather than the moment she was abruptly snatched away from him...
I think the driving scene was also done amazingling the swiving of the car representing the turmoil in Arnav's head... he didn't know which way he should go... each flashback of him and Khushi signified their bond... and the jolt he got when he realized how he almost lost her was perfection... I 👏👏👏 the makers for that...
And finally the heart renching moment when he gets all his questions answered... all it took was the sight of her... and he knew... in is holding her hand he moves into the future otherwise he will always be stuck in the past...
Barun Sobti... even if you do leave for BTown ( I don't think you will just yet anyways) you will never get to play a character like ASR which is so well developed... (minus the towel dance incident) this week you proved why you deserve every damn award out there...
But hands down this week for me belonged to Sanaya...
Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Riazada:
Starts the week by telling her husband not to be late... when has he been late? when has he kept her waiting? ... he has kept her waiting a long time before he could say I love you to her... and this is why she ask him today is the day the world sees our love and so dont' keep me waiting...
The fear of the bad omens... the impatience to see her man was done perfectly... the moment her dreams came crashing down on her was heartrenching...
I know many people did not like that Khushi kept saying " Arnav will come" but I loved it... she was repeating it to herself because she needed to believe it herself... there is one moment when she asks Payal what if he doesn't come...that moment of terror was so beautifully potrayed...
Khushi sitting at the mandap waiting melted even the hearts of people who did not forgive her... toh the audience kya cheez hai... then the hysterics when she felt something happen to Arnav... to the quiet disheartment where she just starts to walk away... in reality my situation was so terrible watching the episode last night I could have given Niagara Falls competition... but that was the beauty of Khushi's love for Arnav...it is haad se zada... and her happiness also knows no bounds ... this is why she tells him she loves him after the ritual is complete because he is now the man he is supposed to be...
Sanaya Irani... are you sure you don't want to be in BTOWN???? Mindblowing performance... this week belonged to you... completely...
Dear CV's:
The scene where Dadi comes back was handled very very poorly... first it was a redemption moment for Anjali she should have been the one to tell Dadi that... or Nani should have stood up and said something... there are other casts members you know they could also be used for important scenes... wouldn't Arnav be touched that his family was rallying around him and Khushi??? These moments of celebration are really needed...
Also, Dadi comes in maligns the name of Khushi's mother in public and then tries to break Khushi's marriage ... and Khushi wants her blessing????????????? does that makes sense to you at all???? do explain yourself... it is ok for younger people to have some ego you know... RESPECT IS A TWO WAY STREET!!!!!
But everything else was fabulous...honestly, thank you for the marriage track because it is now Arnav and Khushi against the world...well first Shyam and Anjali... I am looking forward to this track... both the siblings have moved away from their pasts... but one is going to be pulled back and she is not going to be as strong as Aranv to fight back...
Interesting times ahead... but in the mean time... mithai khao aaj hamari Arhi become the official JODI # 1!!!
My apologies for the abnoxiously long post...I promise next week I will write about one thing and not everything that crossed my mind.
Thank you for sticking thru...
Love
S
P.S. please pm me your comments I don't stick around !.

Todke bandhan purane...
Lene tujhe o gori ayenge tere sajna...
baas yeh baat apne dil mein sada yaad rakhna...
kuch aur ab na kehna...
kuch aur ab na karna...

Pic Credit:Original Uploader

Arnavji kept his promise made to Khushi...the past year had taught him a lot when his life was miraculously touched by her...She was the Alchemist who changed Arnav Singh Raizada's perspective and outlook towards incidents in life and people...So when he faced the reality of his past he weighed it with his present...the confusion looked never ending till his mother's words started threading the past and the present... how the memories of past that he had guarded too close to his heart were the real thorns that caused the hurt in his life... he based his judgements about everything solely on the incidents that destroyed his family.. he refused to partake new thoughts about people and events...Khushi forced him to look at them unwillingly at first but as time went by the sharp businessman realized the soundness of Khushi's views.. but he was to proud to admit it...

Finally his mother's forgotten words came back to remind him of the truth which he knew but was unable to acknowledge...The young man Arnav Singh Raizada finally left his vanity, his doubts, inability to believe in the goodness of others, biased thoughts... in his mother's sanctuary and went ahead to embrace his future even when it was surrounded by dhoka, nafrat because it had unconditional love, faith and trust which was more worthy of attention as it had the potential to heal rather than hurt...He had lived with hurt the major part of his life it didnot bring him peace or contentment as the touch of Khushi's healing did..

The greatest gift of Arnav's life was Khushi and she was a beautiful and selfless person because of an upbringing by her mausi Garima... Arnav had experienced Garima's integrity, honesty as a person and when he carefully weighed the indiscretions of his dad and her.. he understood she had tried to become a better person when she understood her folly.. but his dad had taken the easy way out destroying their family by committing suicide, leading his mom to commit suicide and the resulting jilting of her sister by the groom & his family at her wedding.

His dad had crossed the maryada of marriage by courting another woman.. in ASR's book that was a crime he blamed his dad for.. The situation that he faced with respect to Anjali-Shyam and Khushi further cemented his belief in the fact... and the much publicised dimaag showed the growth in his character with the bounty of experiences he had courtesy his jhalli Khushi.

I am happy we did not go down the cliched route of Arnav asking Khushi to make a choice between him and her Amma...because then ASR would be like any other one dimensional soap hero who does not learn from his mistakes but keeps committing the same folly. IPPKND is primarily the journey of a young man whose life changes for the better and worse including his existing relationships with the advent of a girl named Khushi... and today he reached a new height in this journey...He might hit a low too in this walk of life with Khushi as marriage is not an end but another phase of life with it's own learning's...

I had been a vociferous supporter of the wedding reaching it's culmination at Redux since the remarriage track started... my friends bear testament to the facts as we had endless debates on the issue...I am happy that today my stand is vindicated...

Whether the series ends or moves further with a longer shelf life is anybody's guess but remarriage does not mean that it will certainly see an end very soon...

A love story is not always a fairy tale that ends at the happily ever after note or a tragedy that sees an end with lovers pining forever...
It can still be unique and refreshing if it retains the middle path of differences and unity with intelligent story telling... because then it will be close to a love story that we live everyday in real life with it's trials and joys... and I would for one welcome this soch nayi...

End Note:
ASR has seen a growth in his character with the enriching life experiences.. can we please have the same for Khushiji too.. so that she does not end up doing things which makes us say in exasperation... kuch aur ab na karna.. kuch aur ab na kehna...

Enjoy Ghausia's take on the episode 😳

What an amazing episode! One of the happiest epis the show has ever seen! 👏

So this analysis will be a mostly positive one, because I don't want to bring anyone down 😃

Despite all of the crap the two of them have been through due to their families, Arnav knows that they belong together. The way he caught her as soon as she fell; despite all the tragedy they will inevitably go through in the future, Arnav will stay by her side through it all. Khushi felt that with his hurtful words he was going to leave her, completely humiliated. For a moment, she felt loss hit her like a tonne of bricks and could no longer cope. As you guys can probably tell, I am very much against the 'Khushi-got-pregnant-after-one-day' theory 😆

Arnav tells Khushi that he received all the answers he needed by seeing her stood there. Arnav realised that despite all of the people trying to convince her to leave as he wasn't coming, despite all of the reasons that Khushi should have left and avoided further humiliation, she believed in him and their love enough to wait for him. Khushi will not allow any outside forces to drive them apart as she believes in their love more than we gave her credit for. The blood on her forehead did, as many people have already pointed out, represent the sindoor he would go on to put on her.

Arnav apologises for arriving late, saying that he had to come. Yes, he had to come but not because he made a promise to Khushi that he would. As I said before, he's selfish, a quality that serves him well in this situation; his business-like ASR mind has taught him to know what he wants and not rest until he gets it. Arnav knows that he will not be able to live without Khushi as he loves her so much. Despite what anyone else thinks or feels, Arnav knows that Khushi is the key to his happiness and he needs her like he needs oxygen. I'll refer back to my favourite Heer-Ranjha dialogue, where Arnav tells her that he cannot live without her. Of course, we knew as much (referring back to my older analysis where I spoke about him marrying Khushi when he should have pushed her away as much as possible) so it made sense for him to go ahead with this marriage. He tells her that he wants to marry her and spend the rest of his life with her; he cannot live without her. Arnav's vulnerable side comes out here, and Khushi understands how difficult it must have been for him. A part of me had wanted Khushi to scream and shout at him for humiliating her by being late and refuse to marry him, but the look in her eyes when she saw him in front of her was enough to convince me that that wasn't going to happen. Seeing him with blood on his face was enough to fuel the caring side of her again, just seeing him in front of her and knowing that he did come after everything that had happened that evening was enough to show her that he did indeed love her, so she found no reason to yell at him and hurt them both more unnecessarily. They silently communicated through their eyes what they did not want to convey in words. Arnav understood her pain and she understood his. It is this understanding that they have that convinces me that no force will ever be successful in driving them apart.

& Shyam was unsuccessful once again. How can such a bad villain have such amazing background music? 😆

The contrast in Shyam and Anjali's expressions is very striking.

Nani, I love you! 🤗

She warns Arnav to not hurt Khushi again, as even she is used to the pattern now. Nani more or less knows about the conditions in which their previous wedding happened, and she knows how torn up Khushi was over the entire situation. So she's telling Arnav to think before he takes this huge step. Arnav quickly glances at Garima before he addresses Nani again and tells her that he wants to put the past behind him. Just from the look on his face it is evident that he hasn't thought about everything yet, but together they will work it out. For a fleeting moment, however, I thought this was all a facade and he was going to punish Khushi once again, but the softness and genuine happiness on his face after that was enough to quench any of my worries.

A picture speaks 1000 words, so I'll allow this screencap to speak for itself. Lalit Mohan = directing genius. Absolutely fantastic shot! 👏

"Kaante hamesha mujhe taqleef dete rahe, lekin unki saza main phoolon ko nahi de sakta" - yes, Arnie remembered his mother's words! I also loved how he looked at Dadi when he was speaking about the kaante (thorns) and looked at Khushi when talking about the phool (roses).

Arnav freed Khushi from Dadi's grasp, and it was a beautiful scene! Wonderfully done! I also loved how the camera when focussed on Khushi also had Garima in the background.

Arnav tells Dadi how it was his father's fault and not Garima's. He basically narrated Shyam's story to Dadi and his own experiences were enough to prove to him that Garima was misunderstood. But is that it with regards to the past? Did Arnav not misunderstand his father then? I still believe there's more to the story, and that will be explained by Garima herself. But if my prediction of history repeating is indeed true, will Shyamu end up going crazy and killing himself? Or maybe that's just wishful thinking 😆

Arnav's line about Dadi having to change her thinking/views – all I kept thinking was 'ohh, so this is where SP's nayi soch comes into play' 😆

'Boom, like a pataka!' NK, can I just hold you captive and listen to your little phrases every day? 😳 Seriously, how do the script writer(s) come up with such stuff?! 🤣

Anjali tied the knot. I don't know if this is just tradition, but I think it could symbolise the fact that Anjali will help them solve their problems, and she will no longer be the cause of problems or rifts between the two of them.

Arnav putting the mangalsutra and sindoor on Khushi. Just the images above are enough to show you guys the stark contrast between the last time this happened.

Phere ho gaye, aura ab sab rasame ho gaye hain! Shaadi Mubarak to Arnav and Khushi! 😳

As Khushi always wanted, Arnav has now confessed his love for her in Hindi! Aww 😳

Yeah, the hug was just beautiful!

The only people who were visibly upset through the whole thing were Mami & Shyam, but Payal even managed to win Mami over by the end! A few references were made to Khushi's first entrance into the house, but I guess that's because this is another first entrance, but this time as a Raizada bahu.

Khushi, your expression straight after Mami's dialogue for doing anything to keep Arnav happy is worrying me. Please don't ever leave Arnav 'for his own sake'.

& the rest of the epi was just adorable!

Um, Shyamu, please don't get me started on the theories I have over what he wants to see from that camera ☺️

Episode starts with the continuation yesterday's scene where Arnav scares all into believing he is calling off the wedding, its too much for Khushi whose already had a difficult day she gets dizzy falling right into his arms. This right here is all Shyam needed to realize Arnav is far from hating his love, he did return for her and this wedding was on!

I loved the looks on everyone's faces when Arnav told Khushi he was ready to marry her, Nani's was the best not only giving her blessings but asking Arnav not to do anything in the future that would hurt Khushi. How sweet can she be? Nani treats Khushi as if she were her own, I just love their bond!!

I had high expectations for Anjali and fortunately she delivered. Anjali did not allow Shyam to manipulate her like he usually does, instead she took off the blinders for once and could see for herself how much Arnav and Khushi love each other and that their love could withstand anything.

Got to thank Shyam for bringing Dadi back, as I did not want to be cheated out of the chance to see things blow up for her as Arnav made it clear he's made peace with his past, has and still does hold his father responsible for what happened and would not punish the woman he loves for the actions of others. He pushed away her hand and told her she was free to go if she couldn't swallow the bitter pill of truth. Way to go ASR, he showed tremendous growth and understanding of his mother's words, beautifully done CVs!

Though Khushi's dream wedding turned into a nightmare, in the end her faith won and she did get her fairytale wedding with her prince charming, complete with the rituals, pheras and blessings of their loved ones who couldn't be happier for them. I just loved the use of IPK title song here, it fit beautifully into the scene.

We got a 360 of the grah pravesh scene, but this time one filled with happiness instead of tension, hatred and pain. Khushi was welcomed the right way with Anjali guiding her, just like she did when she and Khushi first met. The scene with the siblings reminding Arnav about the parampara was too cute, they were all included which I loved. The total aww moment was Arnav telling Khushi "itni bhi chot nahi lagi ki apni wife toh utha na sakoon". What a perfect ending to a fairytale episode!!

It was an episode that will be forever etched in the hearts of fans, one that had many of us thinking was this the end? Nope, far from it, it is a new beginning one that Shyam will surely try to make challenging but he's forgetting this couple loves a challenge and overcame the many thrown their way. Bring it on and hats off to the IPK team for a week full of twists and turns we never saw coming!

MAHAN ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA

I am saying something wrong in this vivah.
If all is right with arhi then something wrong with ipk.
And if all is right with ipk then something wrong with arhi.
I am not against this vivah and and ofc after vivah i wasnt expecting any separation. But my actual problem is ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA AKA ASR in this today vivah.

uuff sathya u too ye title vivah. Arrey i nt watched n ll nt watch this filmi vivah until...
Likhney ka kya hai wo tou me bhi iss pe kuch na kuch likh doon. But it nt be 4rm my heart that ll be forcing mind work. N i dnt want my mind to bother 4 it. Haan can write my heart talk but all here r celebrating this vivah happiness so i dnt want to spoil tum sab ki khushyan.
But me want to rant out my heart talk so if i felt then i ll write my mind n heart ka lawa volcano.
ASR K BRAINWA PE WOUND KYA AYI
K POOR 360 DEGREE KA U TURN LE LYA

DIL JALEY DIL JALEY
BAS main aj yahi gaaye jaoon
dil ko apney taskeen pohanchaon
ye asr hai ya honey ki bottle
samajh na aye mujh ko total
continue...
