Arnav whose life's surrounded by hatred, pain and betrayal has overcome all those and entered the mandap just because of Khushi. A worried Shyam who's unable to accept that his plans to separate Arnav and Khushi failed, makes a quick call to Dadi ji's (ab tera kya hoga kaalia😆). I guess he didn't realize that DM gave her OK signal to the marriage when blood drops from Arnav's wounds ended up on Khushi's maang (how dramatic😉).

Arnav apologizes to Khushi for the delay, but he would have come, no two ways about it. He glances at Anjali for confirmation. Garima's past actions have affected both Anjali and chote in a tragic way and he needs to know his sister is fine with his decision. Anjali who's already seen how much Khushi loves and trusts Arnav is teary eyed and smiley faced and nods her agreement. She too is ok with the marriage (yippee). Arnav reaffirms that he wants to marry Khushi and spend the rest of his life with her. The whole atmosphere changes and everyone's eyes are full of tears, tears of happiness and joy (okay, okay, I know Shyam and mami are not happy, but let's leave them for now). I remembered this song from the old movie Anand:

Zindagi kaisi hai paheli haaye

Kabhi yeh hunsaye, kabhi yeh rulaye

How true isn't it? Life is such a big puzzle and full of diametric opposites. The moments before Arnav's entry were extremely painful for all and now, there's a dramatic change. Khushi cannot hold her happiness anymore, her feelings overwhelm her and she rushes to hug Arnav and they are wrapped in each other's arms, deriving strength and comfort and sharing their happiness and contentment. He has given her every joy that she needed, more than made up for the dreams that he crushed earlier, followed every ritual for her sake, didn't break her trust and is now ready to marry her even after hearing about the past. What more can she ask for? She tells him that she knew he'd come and keep her faith and he'd never leave her. Didn't he tell her 'jee nahin paaonga tumhare bina' (this one single dialog touches my heart every single time he says it).

Shyam tires his level best to pour poison into Anjali's ears and wonders if Arnav is making the right choice and will they live happily knowing what happened in the past? Anjali who finally understands how strong chote's bond is with khushi, tells him their relationship is way beyond the normal one (hmmm, so glad she finally got this into her head and hope it stays that way). Nani concurs with Arnav's decision (yes, she too is willing to move on, but then she's always been very wise and never hung on to the past), but she cautions him not to hurt Khushi at any time in the future (is this an omen of things to come?). Arnav assures her that he's willing to let go of the past (what a relief for Garima😊).

Arnav holds Khushi's hands and takes a step when Dadi enters and stops them by holding Khushi's hand. She wants to know how Arnav can marry Khushi knowing all that Garima did to their family. Arnav says he cannot change the past. Dadi tells him truth cannot be changed and Arnav cuts her off saying the truth really is that HE LOVES KHUSHI and though the painful events of the past were pricking him all the time, but he cannot punish Khushi for that. His mother taught him a lesson to never punish one for the mistake of another and what he wasn't willing to listen to at that time, he's able to understand now and follow it. He makes it clear that Garima is not responsible for what happened in the past, it was his father who was married and cheated the two women, his wife and Garima, and when he couldn't face the consequences, he killed himself (I still feel there's more to this story). Arnav finally tells dadi that her thoughts aren't in the right direction and if she doesn't want to change then it's probably best for her to leave. Dadi is shocked to hear this and tries to leave when Khushi tries to stop her (typical of her). Dadi warns Arnav to beware lest he regret his decision in the future (another bad omen?).

Yeah, the wedding ceremony is on🥳. It's as Anjali would say, Sab Kuch pehle ke jaisa tha. Everyone is all smiles and Anjali is hugging nani, Akash is trying to play tricks on Khushi by lifting up Arnav so she cannot garland Arnav and the groom can't take his eyes off of the bride and the title song is played in the background (love this song). Arnav goes through all the shaadi ke rasme, ties the mangalstura, fills her maang with sindhoor and then finally, the saath phere which got everything started with the re-marriage in the first place. After taking the blessings of the elders, it's time for Grihapravesh and of course, the traditions must be followed. Though Khushi protests saying he's been hurt, Arnav lifts her in his arms and enters the house saying, not such that he cannot pick up his wife. Khushi is now officially the Raizada bahu😃; no, it's not Malik since dadi took the khandani kangan with her.

The episode was a bit of a surprise for many of us. Yes, most of thought they'd get married, but the reason for Arnav's change of stance was a bit too sudden. I got thinking about this and asked myself if a person who's so tied to the past can let go off it in an instance and the answer was YES. No, I'm not going to discuss if the show followed tag line, or discuss other possibilities of the show. REDUX experts will certainly be able to shed some light on these aspects. From my side, here's what I felt about the possibility of change.

Tulsidas's story: Can love change people ? If one asks this question, then they truly don't know the power of love. Yes, the change can happen in a moment or even a second. It could be the loved ones' actions, words, or, anything that can trigger us to turn around and chose a different path than what we always followed. I heard this story of Tulsidas and how his whole life changed with just a few words from his wife whom he loved the most. Tulsidas was married to a beautiful woman Ratnavali and he was so enamored by her that he even forgot to do even do his daily duties and ignored everthing else. Ratnavali was upset with his obsession. When she goes to stay at her brother's place, Tulsidas cannot bear the separation from her and on a stormy night crosses a flooded river using a log to reach ashore. He then climbs up to the bedroom where she is, using a rope; all this, just to be with her. We later find out that the log of wood is actually a dead body and the rope he climbed is actually a dead snake. Ratnavali is astonished and shocked at his deeds. She implores her husband to focus his love not on her but on the Lord. Her body that he's worshipping so much will only turn old and decay, so what is the use of worshipping it whereas he can get eternal peace by showing such devotion and love towards the Lord. Her words hit Tulsidas like arrows and in that single moment he changed completely and devoted his life to spirituality.
