I feel only then will ahem realise what he did to his wife ... And truly repent ... But that's another story ...

Agree, Ahem has come full circle. He still does not feel that he has to sit back having confessed his love to his Gopi. He feels that he has to constantly tell, give and show love to his wife all the time.

The story of Ahem and his daughter will make an interesting FF.

I quite agree. But imagine how heart rending Ahem's repentance would be if Gopi, the mum, is no longer around. Now there will be a man who will understand the true meaning of regret. Or I am too evil. 😈
