Hence we can take him showing, telling and giving her more love as his way of repaying to her.

Poonam, you've said everything in your post that I thought of! And although my sane side does agree that the boy has definitely bent over backwards to do everything right, there's a tiny part of me that wishes to see him repent.

Gopi, in a Benarsi saree, bejeweled with gold and crowned too, is sitting on a throne and at her foot, is her husband, Ahem, kneeling with his head bowed low. He has a long scroll in his hand and next to him, is a quill and an ink bottle. He has written down his sins in the brown parchment, painstakingly recounting the wounding incidents he inflicted upon the beloved Queen, of which only he is to be blamed. He knows now the gem he has, in his wife--the epitome of truth, beauty, and love. And at this zenith of realization, he pleads for forgiveness. She, with her too kind a heart, asks him to stop and embraces him, vowing to start anew.

I was still sorta nice in the italicized part, even though I could have been really evil and let him wallow some more. Or she could have burned him into cinders with one look. I didn't do that. They still ended up together. 😈

I really wish Aris was here to reply to this. She would love this thread!
