first of all I have nothing against Isha or Salman. THe only thing that bothered me is that they gave her more chances than others. She did it with one hand which is commendable! 👏But, this is her talent that she has done so for so many years, and she should know it.

she did her acrobats again and no problem but Gurmeet tries the new form and not enough dance...like Isha's horror performance had gotten perfect 30 without dance. 😆

Isha's arm limited her, not her fault but it limited her dance moves..but if rashmi tried something different and danced, her moves were limited and got points off for that.

lastly, the other contestants are trying something different every time and stepping out of their comfort zone, which is competition. ⭐️

I hope Rithvik or Rashmi win or Gurmeet, since he has been there from the beginning and he has tried something different every time and grown as a dancer. 😃

About 22nd September,
I did not like Gauhar's choreography, and the dance also was average so the points Gurmeet got were fair. I miss Shampa. I hope she gets well soon because Gurmeet clicks really well with her. Gauhar was so awkward in her movements!
About 23rd September,
I loved Gurmeet as Mahadev! His movements were much crisper here and I just loved his overall look. I'm not a great judge of dancing and I watch JDJ just for Gurmeet so I'm not going to judge the dance as a critique, but one thing is certain. Gurmeet does so well in mythological roles. I saw the same love and dedication he gave to Lord Ram's character here, and if ever there is another Mahadev show or movie in the future, Gurmeet is truly the perfect choice for the role.

Sunday 23rd September

All Solo Performances and one Group Performance tonight😃.

Solo Performances:

Rashmi [Freestyle]:

Another Bollywood Dance Form performance from Rashmi. It's her forte. I can see why she is known for her expressions. When her movements were not as flowy or restricted in other words her expressions covered for it.

It was good but not something great.

My score: 9 out of 10 - I didn't enjoy this performance as much compared to her previous performances. But her expressions were 👏

Rithvik [Freestyle]:

It was good. I liked lasers used. He is an amazing dancer. I was a little disappointed with the choreography today (Sneha, please create magic with your choreographies like in Saturday's performance. On a fan scale from 1-10, 1 lowest and 10 highest, it declined from 5.5 to 5 only😭).

My score: 9.5 out of 10. - There wasn't any major wow moment in this performance.

Gurmeet [Tandav]:

Gurmeet is really good in character-based performances and I think I have posted this before many time on this forum (or may be I didn't post but certainly did think so and still do think) that Gurmeet is Excellent in character-driven performances. His acting skills come in very handy in such performance. He was really poised in the whole performance.

BUT, I did some digging on Tandav way before when I watched Mahadev episode where He performs Tandav dance. I know the context it was danced on. Honestly speaking, I didn't feel any anger, angst, frustration or any such emotion from Gurmeet's steps. There were really very little dance steps. From his body language, yes, but not the dance steps.

As far as I know and understand, the type of Tandav Gurmeet performed it's a violent and angry dance form where dance steps should convey what the dancer is feeling. Gurmeet's performance had fire stunts but there were too many of them. I also remember Jayati Ji's Tandav performance. It didn't have any stunts like in this performance but still got the emotions across (Not comparing their performances but just giving an example).

Shampa, please, please, please create some amazing choreographies like you did in the middle weeks of JDJ5.

My score: 6.5 + 1 out of 10. - That '1' is for his acting throughout the performance. I was expecting a lot more from Gurmeet in this Tandav act.

Isha [Rope Malakhamb]:

I can see now why some would call/consider Rope Malakhamb a dance form. I could feel the rythm and a beat in this performance when the actual song doesn't really have one. I remeber in her very first Pareshaan performance, I couldn't understand the Rope Malakhamb bit for weeks. It seemed odd to me so her getting 9 was justified in my eyes (also due to that fall in one of the lifts). However, in this performance, I could feel a rythm especially when she has that lunge position hanging onto the rope and is going/flying round in circles.

I think she forgot a step or two in the middle of her performance when she was on the floor and went back to the rope.

My score: 9.5 out of 10 - was it an officially recognised Dance Form? No. But Isha performed it really well and it was a Blockbuster (since there is no minimum limit for anything to be blockbuster) performance. Wouldn't say 'Perfect' (due to that forgetting thing). No sympathy involved at all. If she decided to perform then she or anyone shouldn't expect that Isha be given sympathy marks. Not in my world.

Group Performance:

Isha-Salman:

The most clean lifts and it was good.

Gurmeet-Suchitra:

Chemistry was lacking. I have been noticing it for a weeks now, even in Gurmeet-Shampa performacnes that understanding/chemistry is lacking and that made the performance not very enjoyable for me.

Rashmi-Deepak:

Rashmi forgot some steps. Then there were some coordination issues. Deepak was a few seconds ahead of her.

Rithvik-Sneha:

It was good. Rithvik was a few seconds ahead of Sneha in steps.

Overall Group Performance Observation:

Seeing them all perform together, I can now understand why everyone only remember's Isha's lifts and stretches only. She is the only one who does them the cleanest out of all. Rithvik-Sneha performed that back-flip-turning that Isha-Salman had in their group performance. The reason I remember is because Isha-Salman's was cleaner than Rithvik-Sneha's.

Scores:
Agree with Judges' scores for group relay performances.

Overall Episode:

Skipped most of the general talk, even Rani-Madhuri bits. It looked really boring.

Only fun bit was Manish's singing with KJo in the chorus😆. Love KJo. He is so much fun compared to other judges on the show.

Agree with Rani, Manish the best Anchor (but then again I haven't watched many reality shows, only three in total)

*Below are my opinions only, not facts. Feel free to disagree*

Conclusion:

My overall views about each of the remaining contestants on their performances so far:

Rithvik good in anything and everything as long as he controls his energy in each act.

Gurmeet good in character-based performances which sometimes even helps hide his dancing flaws.

Rashmi good in Bollywood and Indian dance forms. Not good in Western. She tried Samba, Contemporary and Cha-cha-cha. They weren't really that good.

Isha good and much better in Western type dance forms than in Bollywood or Indian dance forms. I don't know about Ballroom Dance Forms since that Argentine Tango wasn't really Argentine Tango and that Ballroom Dance B&B, I had some issues with her frame/posture. So in Ballroom forms unsure, umm, more towards 'not that good'.

What Isha did in one performance, other could not do it in her absence combined. She was amazing, she danced beyond dancing and competition.

Wow, I was shocked to hear Remo say to Gurmeet that yesterday was the first time he saw him do full on dancing in the group performance! My question is then how does that happen - how does a contestant come all the way to the semi-finals and that is the first time he does full on dancing and not as Karan and Remo mentioned that his solo which was more a "stunt" and a "gimmick" and less of dance. Where have they been all this time?
