The story now has moved to a different trajectory. When Khushi related all the incidents to Arnav, Arnav did not believe her and thereafter we saw some flaws and the flaws have now burgeoned into a laundry list which I have put together as follows:
1. Khushi explained everything to Arnav. But when Arnav asked Khushi, "what did you mean when you said, 'aap Anjali ji ko chhod kyon nahi dete'? Khushi drew a blank. She said, "I don't know what you're talking about, you will only take the meaning as you want to". Arnav was not convinced.
Flaw 1: If he was not convinced, not once was he shown as being suspicious or trying to find out the truth himself. He loved Khushi. It was in his interest to try to explore the issue himself. But none of this was shown.
Flaw 2: Khushi, to prove her innocence, should have amassed her family to testify against Shyam rather than pursue Shyam to tell the truth. It was common sense. But none of this was shown.
2. Arnav then gets kidnapped and pines for Khushi in being away from her and says, "I love you". With this, all his doubts about Khushi were over. Shyam turns out to be Arnav's kidnapper but Arnav never sees him. Khushi and NK intercept Shyam's communications that prove that he is the kidnapper. They see him say, "I love you Khushi" on an audio-enabled passcode on a pen drive where he stored Arnav's signed will. Such dense, rich proofs but none to show when it was time to accuse Shyam.
Flaw 1: How could Arnav get convinced so suddenly when all of Khushi's explanation could not get him to?
Flaw 2: When Khushi accused Shyam we only saw bits and pieces of this evidence coming on surface. It is true that Shyam was rightfully asking for a proof, they had none. Fine. But this was not hard as it seemed. Mami, Akash, Payal and Mamaji were kept away from this. Why?
3. The confrontation scene comes. Arnav knows vital truth but he fails to mention his side of the story completely. Why? Because Anjali was fainting? So slapping Shyam and kicking him out would not have caused Anjali to faint? Instead, upon hearing Arnav's side of the story Anjali would have become alert and would have begun realizing that Shyam is at fault.
Flaw 1: Buaji and Garima should have been roped in to testify against Shyam. None of that was even thought of.
Flaw 2: Pusillanimous defence by Khushi and NK. Very skimpy, not enough information was given.
Flaw 3: The confrontation track ended with Khushi declaring that my innocence is in my eyes Arnavji, you will have to look in my eyes. Sorry, not a right explanation. The CVs killed this track after 5 days of stretching and dragging when Arnav could have interrupted and said that I know this Shyam told me to my face that he does not love Di.
Flaw 4: Slapping Shyam suggests desperation. Proving him wrong would have had a solid impact.
4. Post confrontation, Arnav gave a one line explanation to Dadi about Khushi's innocence.
5. Arnav lies to Anjali that he did not love Khushi when he married her and that he married Khushi for her welfare.
Flaw 1: Arnav not only withheld information from Anjali but also withheld vital information from her.
Flaw 2: Anjali just heard Arnav and kept quiet. No curiosity arose in her mind, no questions nothing.
6. All this period, Akash was upset with Payal that she did not tell him about Shyam-Khushi broken relationship but at the same time did not disclose to her that Arnav's Dadi is alive and lives away from RH.
Flaw 1: No one in RH cared to ask Khushi or Payal or even NK as to what had happened. Not Anjali. Not Mami. Not Nani. Not Akash. No communication whatsoever when communication was the key. For days we were shown morose, inconclusive episodes where nobody talked and the moment anyone would start talking, people shut each other up for the sake of Anjali's health.
7. Enter Dadi. She hates Khushi. Does not approve of Arnav's marriage. Discovers Arshi conversation that they are unmarried. Makes a big deal. Wants to know about 'Garima' and in the end disovers that Garima is the woman she was looking for. So far Garima has not been allowed to speak and God knows what other schemes are in store for the viewers.
8. Shyam kills his child, gets Anjali injured and succeeds in coming back to RH, after series of spying games. Installs cameras using Anjali's credit card. Earlier spent Rs 5 lakhs for carrying Arnav's kidnap games. Enters RH as an electrician, as a drummer and also sends his goons to get the cameras installed.
Flaw 1: How did Khushi know his whereabouts?
Flaw 2: How did Shyam know that Anjali was in hospital?
Flaw 3: How come no one spotted the cameras in RH?
Flaw 4: How come no one found shards of broken glass that got Anjali injured?
One issue after another. Yet every new episode fails to address any of the points mentioned above. It is pertinent to mention here that it is wedding time - Arshi wedding time - something that we all were waiting for. Yet, this does not evoke the interest when we know that so many issues lie buried on top of each other and there is not a glint of indication that the story is mending itself.
The trends from the past have been disastrous so far. In the coming week, Arnav will come to know that Garima is the woman his father had an affair with, but his grudges are more with the father than the other woman. He is wise not to drag Khushi into this but he will have to face stiff opposition to Khushi in RH in the coming weeks, something which again we do not want to see and something again which does not address the plethora of issues discussed above.
We can make only two things out of this:
1. Either the storyline originally concieved was so thin that there is no story to tell anymore which is why the dragging is going on.
2. Or the CVs are so incompetent in addressing the issues that they cannot put 2 and 2 together.
Either way the story has lost its charm and we are seeing something totally botched and mashed up. There can be no exceptions to this nor could there be any argument going against this deduction.
