Strong debut = shorter career span of an actress?

Hey guys!

This thought just randomly hit me and it makes a lot of sense, well at least i think it does😉

I have noticed that most of the super star actresses we have had did not really have the best debut, forget best some of these were plain average yet they made it so big and attained the top spot

Names like Madhuri, Aishwarya, Kareena, Karisma, Rani, and katrina come to mind. All these did not really have the best debut but they have seen the top most positions in the industry

where as on the other side of the coin we have

bhageeshri, anu agarwal, twinkle, mahima, ameesha, esha and sonam. Their debut was made big in every possible way yet they vanished or hit all time low in most of their careers so far

What i have analyzed is that when an actress makes an ordinary debut like say Aishwarya did, she does not grab all eye balls just like that which changes the graph all together, she goes from low to high and then eventually we know stardom is not for ever. But in this process she gets 3,4 years extra. For example bebo had a good 4 years where she did not gain much on acting or stardom, think about it if JWM happened in 2003 instead, do u think her career would have been that long, i dont think so as after PEAK is DOWNFALL, natural thing, you cant always be on peak so may be she would not have enjoyed as long a career as she is right now

same with katrina, if she had those 4 hits in 2003 itself instead of 2007, her career might have been shorter as she must have gotten massive attention in 2003 so those 4 years from 2003-2007 which we now add to her career span where she did not really do much might not have been there, hence a shorter career

Peak is followed by down fall, undeniable theory. One day even kareena would see it and katrina as well but i feel because of ordinary debuts actresses do get an easy initial 3,4 years where people do not notice them much and when they hit peak after those 3,4 years of struggle their career span is surely longer.

So do you guys feel strong debuts can some time back fire and lead to instead a shorter career span of an actress ?

P.S: boy friends, family names, and other ways of staying in top is not my focus in here. I know that always helps. I am just discussing this in respect to the debut.

😛

no i dont mean poor, i just mean dont over expose your self too much right at the start

not every one is dpad to survive it. She was written down so grossly as she starred with srk and had the best debut, notice how hard people went on her in her second movie BAH.

I totally agree and the reason behind this is hard work.

Someone like sonam and ameesha got carried away by success in the beginning they got to big for their shoes they made controversial statements and became arrogant and didn't take their work seriously and failed badly

someone like katrina and rani faced failure in the beginning but that made them work harder and harder and that made them learn a lot and then they became queen of bollywood.

Koiza most of the actresses who get a dazzling debut with all media attention are star kids or belonging to rich families !!!!so its bound to happen ...i mean their debut being grand !!!😛
While karishma n Kareena are from Bollywood's biggest family ...Aish was Miss.World already.. and Madhuri sustained purely on her acting capabilities n we know what kind of debut Kat n Rani had !!! 😛

I don't really agree with that, because I really think Deepika will have a long and successful career in Bollywood. This doesn't apply to all the actresses but yes to most of them...

Yes tomnjerry you are right but then again i strongly feel that failure of refugee actually helped kareena

had she had a debut with KNPH she must have been declared the best at a much early time period in her career and that might have damaged things some how.

even though Rani Mujherji was Queen sometime before, she is no longer Rani Now. I doubt if she disappears from industry forever . Ever since there has been plenty of new actress in Bollywood, old actress has been getting nothing, Preity and Rani both are out of those old actress.
