if its true then its a very wrong depiction of shobha de's life...she will never stoop dwn to sch levels...she hd enuff temptation during her stardust days but she alwz kept bollywood stars and starlets at arms length and in fact looked dwn upon thr crassness.also she is far frm an air head socialite.although not a very good one she has been known as one of the pioneer writers frm india and an intellectual in her own right.she might like partying with a few high flyers and a good lifestyle but at home she is a normal wife and mother.

lest i be criticised for being a fawning worshipper,let me make it clear i dont beliv in becoming a 'fan' of anyone.my observations and opinions are based on objective contemplation and some diligent research into her life being somewhat intrigued by the personality.

I liked her after reading "Superstar India", a really good book. But barring that and other occasional outbursts of righteousness, she sometimes comes off as trying-too-hard.
