thats because its something that sets her apart from others .i know she is one smart woman
by always being in the character (be it costumes ,hair ,tone of character ) she wants to show hoe deeply involved she is with her movies that sends a good vibe across other filmmakers who would want to approach her for the same reason

I think the Bhatts are the biggest masters of publicity right now. Their movies are mostly crap but they get a good openinh enough to recover costs no matter who the actor is. With Jism 2 they hyped it as p0rn star Sunny Leone's debut and with Raaz 3 it was has-been Bipasha's comeback. Both promised lots of skin show and the purpose was served. Its another matter that Jism 2 couldnt even sustain on the first Saturday.

I think you got me wrong. I never meant to say her publicity stunt was stupid. I think it is amusing in the sense of being entertaining and I was being sarcastic. The above person compared her to Christian Bale, what I meant here is his way of promotion is different from her, Vidya's is quite unique, innovative and much smarter than him.

no yaar i didnt got u wrong i know u were being sarcastic all i wanted to say Vidya's promotion approach is innovative and unique(as u said) and thats the only reason u mentioned here right if she was similar to other actors in their promoting approach that was like herd mentality u wont have quoted her in the first place she is different so u noticed it .we both actually mean the same but just coated it in different ways😆
