Part 7

Navya ran up to the close door to see a glimpse of her life being trailed away from her. Sughanda walked over to Navya. "Navya beta, tujhe Anant ke bare me kuch pata tha?" Navya was shook by Sughanda's words. "Nahin maaji, kuch bhi nahin!" she fell into her arms and Sughanda gave her a motherly hug. "Maa, Anant theek hojayenga na!" Navya scruffled her tears as Sughanda gently nodded and stroked her hair. They both broke into a flood of tears as they had the closest and most special relationship with Anant. Two relationships those are dearest to a man, the relationship of a mother and a wife. Soon after all the Bajpai's rushed to the hospital apart from Bua Dadi and Baba. Nimi held Navya in a tight hug as tears wouldn't stop trailing from her eyes. Navya spoke to Nimi alone "Nimi I spoke to Anant just before the accident he said that he was having a late shift so he would return late so he must have lied and was on the way home... we were talking and then all of a sudden!" she closed her eyes and feared the worst. "It's my entire fault... sab kuch mere galte hai!" Nimi shook her head in denial. Om and Mohan were ringing specialist doctors for Anant's treatment. They had forgotten the past and only kept in mind their son. Mohan didnt have a grudge against anyone he loved his brother dearly and would do anything for him. "God Damn it!" Om punched the wall in anger. "Papa kya hua?" Mohan held his shoulder. "Koi Anant ki ilag ke liye free nahin hai!" There was a reason for this. Someone had informed the doctors Om was contacting. "Mene kaha un logo ko ke tum jitne paisa kahonge hum de denge par koi haan nahin ke rahe hai!" Mohan held onto his shoulder. "Dont worry Papa koi mil jayenga!" the doctor walked out of the room. He gathered everyone around. "Doctor saab Anant theek ho jayenga na!" Navya pleaded him she was crying with fear and hope. The doctor looked at her blankly. He didnt respond for a few minutes. "Doctor saab kya hua?" Om was getting angry his BP was rising. The doctor looked around at the family. "Woh... Anant has internal bleeding across his whole brain, it has spread quite quickly so the chances of a quick recovery is impossible, we have to operate on his brain otherwise he could suffer from a brain haemorrhage or even brain loss!" Navya gripped to the wall and sat down. "Nahin!!! Anant ko kuch nahin honga! Anant ko kuch nahin honga!" she buried her palms over her face. Nimi sat down with her crying as well. "Bhabi dont worry bhai ko kuch nahin honga!" she wrapped her arms around her and comforted her. Savita hugged a petrified Sughanda. She cried heavily. Mohan and Om continued their conversation with the doctor. "Look Mr Bajpai, as this was an accident we have to call the police they have to find out about the accident then we can start. He needs to have this operation!" the doctor looked at both of them. Om looked worried and scared he nodded finally and the doctor went back in to operate. "Nimi ab kya honga? Brain haemorrhage!" Navya laid her head on Nimi and she thought about Anant. Muskurado ek baar played. Sughanda came and sat next to her. She held her hand. "Navya beta tum ghar jaa kar aram kar, ese rona mat Anant ko acha nahin lagenge ga!" Sughanda hugged her. "Nahi Maa hum yahan theek hai jab tak Anant theek nahin honga hum nahin jayenge wapas!" Navya smiled a little. Sughanda held her shoulder and brushed her right hand over her cheek. "Anant really is a lucky man to have someone as caring and considerate as you!" her eyes fell on Rama who was glaring at them. She never said anything to her but she was never happy with Rama's behaviour towards the family and Mohan especially. Mohan took Sughanda home with Om as they needed to attend office. Rama decided to stay with Navya to see what would happen to Anant. She was only here for the gossip. Navya was silently crying and praying and she rolled her eyes at her. She hated her.

Appy, Ranbir and Ritz came running through the doors to find Navya and Rama. Ritz and Appy both enveloped Navya into a hug and Navya silently sat there. "Navya, kya hua? Mohan bhaiya ne hume phone kiya?" Ritz spoke. Navya was still mum. Appy shook her. "Navya!" Appy was shouting at her but she was just in her own world. She got annoyed. "Just leave me alone!" Navya burst out her worries on them and shouted at them. They slowly backed off, they weren't angry at her but they sympathised with her. They understood what she was going through. Ritz held onto her shoulder and tears came out of their eyes. They had never seen Navya like this. She was calm, composed but never anger. Navya looked at them and realised what she had just done. She held Appy and Ritz hand and looked at them with teary eyes. "I'm sorry...!" Navya hugged both of them and cried her eyes out. Ritz stroked her back gently and cradled her like a baby. "Navya, it's going to be okay, dont worry Anant will be fine!" Ritz hugged her tightly and Appy looked at her. "Navya trust me nothing is going to happen to Anant, you're his strength and when your strength is with you, you can fight anything!" Appy reassured her. Ritz looked at Appy and told her it will all be fine. "Appy is right... Look Navya there's one thing I know clearly and that is you love Anant... your love will bring him back to you! I promise that to you!" Ritz put both of her hands onto Navya's hands and smiled a little. Navya's face was blank. She remembered the words that Anant told her before he fell unconscious.

*Flashback*

"Navya... I want to say something to you... Since the day we met you stole my heart for good, I am crazy about you.. every time I breathe it is for you... every time my heart beats it only beats for you... you are my everything and you watch I will be just fine... just fine so I can take you in my arms and take you to your dreamland... you watch I will be your Prince Charming who will take you away in that carriage... dont cry when I'm in there... your every tear makes my heart wrench in pain... my happiness is only when you are happy... but when you are sad my life becomes a misery, dont cry for me please keep smiling angel thats how you look best! I love you Navya Bajpai!"

Flashback ends

Tears dropped out of her eyes as she slowly cradled forwards and backwards. Ritz and Appy were scared for her. Petrified to see her like this. Ritz walked over to Ranbir. "Ranbir kuch karye Na... woh Navya ki halat to dekhiye aap doctor se baat karne ki khoshish kijye!" Ritz whispered but Rama was listening to everything. "Ritika woh Anant ki tests kar rahe hai, ab hum baat nahin kar sakte hai unke liye wait karna parenga!" Ranbir held Ritz hand and she smiled a little. Rama was glaring over at them and they separated. The doctor came out of the theatre and looked over at everyone. "Is Mr Bajpai's family member present here?" Everyone looked over at Navya. Navya was in her own world. Her eyes were narrowing, turning lifeless. Ritz walked over to the doctor. "Doctor, Navya unki patni hai aapko kya chahiye Hume bata dijye?" Appy was trying to get Navya to come back to normal. Navya shook out into reality and looked over at everyone. She stood up towards the doctor. "Mrs Bajpai can you come into my cabin we need to talk about Anant!" the doctor walked off and Navya felt urgency in her body. She was slowly coming back and she realised that she needed to stay strong for Anant, for the family.

Precap: Navya and the doctor in the cabin, the doctor is showing Navya all the scans of Anant's brain and Navya is pulling a worried face. She holds her head and falls unconscious on the floor.
