Arnav: excuse me firstly I didn't complete the sentence u perv and secondly I didn't know it was a girl, I was talking about something very important on the phone.

Just then arnav remembered he had to tell khushi the truth! Khushi was giving him a 1000 watts smile, enjoying the moment, more like cherishing it and he didn't want to spoil it for her but he had to.

Arnav: khushi I want to tell u something.. maybe confess something..

It was all too good to be true' khushi wasn't someone 'oh so important' in his life but she made her space. WHEN? This question was yet to be answered! Arnav did not, I repeat DID NOT want to spoil this moment for her. Her expressions clearly showed that she was happy even after opening up to an almost stranger, telling him about her weaknesses, she was happy. But some things better be done soon then neglected and this time it was arnavs turn to open up and tell her the truth.

Arnav: khushi i'.

Khushi: don't tell me u r going to propose as I am supposedly available. *she said with a wink*

Khushi wasn't the kind of girl who flirted but when it came to arnav it looked as if she never left a chance, she liked the embarrassed look on his face with a slight blush. How can a man blush like that and be embarrassed of a girl flirting with him. Khushi found it amusing..

Arnav: its serious ok..

The atmosphere had suddenly gotten a little tense and that was enough for our smart khushi to realize this is serious.

Khushi: go on!

Just then arnavs phone rang..

Arnav: dammit!

*aman calling*

Arnav: I have to attend this.. sorry.

Hello

Aman: ASR where r u?

Arnav: aman whats wrong?

Aman: I asked where r u?

Arnav: im at a cafe why?

Arnav knew aman never talked to him in this tone until it was a major emergency.

Aman: r u with khushi?

Arnav: yes why?

Khushi cud read arnavs expressions.. from irritated, to angry, to worried, to terrified' but why TERRIFIED?

The moment arnav heard khushis name he was terrified.. if it was something serious to do with khushi then it can only be connected to rodger..

Arnav: rodger? *he asked with a straight face*

Khushi saw the straight face, *maybe this rodger guy is some business rival of his. He never has a straight face, his face and eyes r always full of emotions. Wait is he fuming now, whats wrong with this guy and the change in his facial expressions.* - khushi thought.

Aman: yes ASR, the detective is somewhere near to where u guys r, he was following Rodgers men and he is sure they are coming for u two. I just called to warn. Please get to somewhere safe and u need to get khushi out of there.

Arnav: thanks aman, ill manage.

Just then arnav saw Rodgers men, the same two men he had seen afew days back with the same tattoo. Damn he cant tell khushi the truth now, not infront of them. They think she is payal and he can not risk her life. What to do now? ' arnav thought.

Khushi: akash is everything ok?

Arnav: huh! Ya ya, some business issue so PAYAL what wud u eat?

Khushi: haan? Akash im..

Arnav: hungry? I know love, what wud u want to eat.. lets not get u starving shall we..

*had the talk with aman about business mad him mad* - khushi thought.

Arnav called the waiter.

Arnav: one club sandwich and frozen cappacino for miss payal here and one black coffee..

Khushi: there was no need to tell my name akash..

Arnav: payal oh come on u have such a beautiful name I want to say out loud again and again PAYAL.

Khushi: have u lost it (she whispered)

Arnav: just play along ill explain later..

Minutes later the 2 huge men understood the former was payal and later akash. No connection with arnav and khushi. But they had khushis picture, it ought to be her. But bcoz they were 2 douche they didn't pay much attention to it and walked out.

*in the car*

Khushi: what was that?

Arnav: urrm.. well u see there were many people there who saw u and payal the other day and were uh! Friends of arnavs so if I called u khushi it wud look weird right?

Khushi: cant 2 ppl have the same names.

Arnav: ya but' u know.. to be on the safe side.

Silence prevailed for the rest of the journey and arnav stopped outside khushis house. She was about to step out when he held her hand.

Arnav: we will make everything alright? Hmm?

It was assurance as well as a question, because obviously it takes 2 to clap doesn't it.

Khuhsi: yes we will..

She smilled a warm smile at him and that made some funny movements in arnavs stomach, he felt light and happy and returned the same smile to her.

Khushi was sure of one thing. Whatever stupid behavior he carried out todays was bcoz of that business call and chose to ignore other things.

Arnav: KHUSHI

Khushi: ji?

Arnav: btw ur name sounds much more beautiful' so see u at the airport'

He drove off with a soft smirk on his face, god knows what took over him that he said that but he felt like he HAD to.

Khushi stood rooted to the spot. Everytime they meet and then say their goodbyes he always says something that leaves khushi breathless and smiling like an idiot, with lots of twisting and turning in the night with his thoughts.

Khushi: WHY?
