When two people meet and fall in love there's sudden rush of magic;a magic,which is just naturally present then.One day they wake up and find that the magic is gone!
This is exactly what I'm finding the situation in Rishi and Indira's love story.They met each other as if fate had decided it;they were two different people,who had been living their lives in search of love;they fought,they laughed,and they cried together,one day to find out that they've fallen in love with each other.All differences disappear;all the walls are broken;every one else around them disappear,making Indira and Rishi lost in each other.Soon they make a solemn promise to each other that,they'll live and love each other till death do part them.And alas!...every dream seems shattered;every moment of love and togetherness fades,taking Indira in a deep slumber,and Rishi wait for his love to wake up and take his hands in hers,and both getting disappeared in the magic of love.
Similarly,we are longing for that moment when Indira and Rishi will fall for each other all over again;when the 'magic',which has mesmerized us once,again envelopes everything around "HD".But the uncertainty lingers,and we're left with a question:can the magic happen again?
Honestly,I feel that the 'magic' of Indira and Rishi has already bid adieu to us,and nothing can revive it.The writer and the CVs of "HD" have taken a leap in the dark,which has already enveloped the 'magical spark' between Indira and Rishi.I also feel that every single step in Indira and Rishi's relationship has started prematurely and ended prematurely.The story and the events relating to these two characters' lives have never been portrayed clearly ever since the trial track.Everything seemed to have happened in a rush:from Indira's proposal of marriage to Rishi-to Rishi's disclosure of his real identity;from Indira's forgiveness of Rishi-to their more than once incomplete marriage;from Indira and Rishi's new life as married couple,to Indira's health condition;and finally from Indira's state of coma-to sudden parenthood of Rishi and her to an eight year old daughter.There has been no connection in the chain-of-events whatsoever;and it has resulted in the execution of the beautiful relationship between Indira and Rishi,which has so much potential,and which has been the reason of interest for most of the audience.It would have been very interesting and lovely to see Rishi taking care of his infant baby,as well as Indira;trying to bring back Indira from the state of amnesia,which could have been the next step in the story.But I guess there's nothing more left in 'HD' to look forward to.
When I say there's nothing much to look forward to in the story,I don't mean to show any hostile feeling towards the new characters,who has been portrayed.But I just mean that,without making the story so complicated[which seems to be:as now Shweta will have issues with Rishi and Indira's daughter]like every other Indian soaps,and bringing so much melodrama,it could have been simple,with a balance of reality and humor.The three characters,Rishi,Indira,and Shweta could have been brought together as three people sharing a good relationship of friendship,with one person binding them together,i.e.,little Indu.And the sweet and sour Indira-Rishi love story could have been shown to develop more,gradually.But to our utter disappointment,this giant leap created in "HD",has certainly deemed our hopes.
