i want to know who is Lalita Pawar

i have heared name in many films and serials.. but who is the woman.. who was she in film and who is she in real life

Lalita Pawar was a supporting actress who played everything from the wicked aunt or mother-in-law, to a loving mother or dadi amma or equally loving landlady. She is best remembered for her rolls in the Raj Kapoor, Nutan starrer Aanadi where she played Mrs. Disa, or as the middle aged guardian aunt of Kalpana and Parween Sultana in the Shammi Kapoor, Kalpana starrer Professor.

She was always seen in a lot of Raj Kapoor's home productions Shree 450 [played a banana seller and was in the two group songs Dilka Haal Suneh Dilwala and Ramaiya Vastavaya], Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai [played one of the members of the dacoit gang and is very visible in the title song of the movie]. There was also this movie called Sasural [Rajendra Kumar starrer made in South India] where she plays a daadi amma and has a song called "daadi amma, daadi amma maan jao" picturized on her.

I believe she passed away awhile back. She was from Kolhapur in Maharashtra. Hope that helps. Maybe you should rent the few movies that I have mentioned so you can connect a face with the name. 😊
