i am here with my question bank again and its a serious doubt..if Parvati can do penance for months with most hard situation to get Shiv as her husband then how could she fell asleep while taking this tantra lession with such ease..with her penance she had already got victory over the weakness of a human body na??then how its possible that she felt tired so soon??when she didn't get tired in so much hard penance..??

plz help me friends..

A similar topic is already made.I agree,u and the other TM have a point but I had read one story when Shiv was telling parvati about immortality,then too she had fallen asleep.The CVS have taken this part and added it in today's episode

i just found the topic after posting this..well this track is also adoption of similar kind of story but seriously these myths and stories contradict each other

You said it..these are myths,not to be taken very seriously but for centuries we Indians have overlooked the true nature of God who resides within us and is known to all of us at some level or the other.

Instead we have attached a whole lot of importance these myths stories etc. which must have been composed when there were entertainment avenues and people wanted to listen to tales about their God. My only problem is that these stories are past their sell by date and they do not fit in today's context. They need not be regressive and if they are there is no need to repeat them now. These stories were written in a totally different India perhaps the dark ages for women, so they should be suitably modified for the present day audience.

The CVs could go beyond the Puranas and explore the Vedas and I am sure they would find lots of interesting stuff to tell.

hey dear i am completely agree with you...when those stories got popular it was an age of oppression for women but showing Shakti inferior to Shiva (when they are same and completes each other) can satisfy male dominated society's ego but not good for women's dignity nowadays.hope after coming of mahakali they won't show Shakti such weak woman
