This one question has been troubling me for ages

just out of interest😛

why do we watch DKDM?

there are many groups of fans

essentially we can divide them into

those who watch DKDM for its actors
Those who watch it as a mythological
those who watch it as a source of entertainment
those who watch it for romance etc

and those who well...have other reasons😉ha ha!!

there are multiple options so you can vote for more than one

and incase your reason isnt in the options,then state it!

o yes n e1 cuz i am a shiv devotee since i ws 2 :)

N after watching dis show i m falling for them [SHIV-SHAKTI N MOUNI-MOHIT-SONARIKA] more n more :)

I picked the first & last options - Mythological Stories & Diffrent Interpretations of Puranic Stories.

Yeah, I do get entertained, do enjoy the chemistry b/w Mohit & Sonarika, and admire the various actors (favorite aside from Moharika is Pankaj Dheer, who I love more as Himavan than Karna). However, those are not the reason I watch.

Main reason is that this is one of the first serials about Mahadev that describes him in a way that one can connect to, if one understands what I mean. And it's different - as opposed to so many Ramayans & Krishna leelas.

@pink-i think thats one of the major reasons why me and many other people may watch the show as well...you feel a deep connect with Mahadev,it makes Mahadev relate able,very transparent

you can understand him and admire him...😊

Yeah, like today for example, they showed an unpleasant side of Mahadev, and yet, I didn't have any negative reactions seeing that, as I normally would seeing others depicting him. They showed this one, they showed him incinerating Kama-dev, and even though one was sympathetic towards Kama-dev, one didn't feel any anger or anything towards Mahadev either.

I was attracted to the presentation and actors ofcourse initially but now it is more of the storyline and the lives of Mahadev and Parvati which I would like to know.
