Scotland have been bundled out for 152 which is well below-par on this good batting deck. Archer accounted for Munsey and McMullen in the same over. Jones was the aggressor in the powerplay and he fell to Curran in the final over of the powerplay. That brought Berrington and Bruce together and the duo batted beautifully to stitch a fifty partnership. They scored at a good tempo and even put the spinners under pressure. Dawson and Rashid conceded 26 runs and 22 runs respectively of their first two overs and Scotland went past 100 in the 12th over. After two overs of pace, Brook turned back to his spinners and they delivered. Dawson removed Bruce, Berrington was trapped lbw by Rashid in the very next over and things went downhill for Scotland as they slipped from 113/3 to 127/8. Jofra Archer has been speaking to TV at halfway: "Process doesn't change, games don't all go the same way so you have to stick to it. Different conditions to Mumbai, slid on quite a bit and we used that to our advantage. It's a wicket we bat well on, so over to the batters to bring it home. Plans don't change, if we decide to hit the wicket, we hit the wicket, if it's pace off, it's pace off.

Well, it looks a below-par total, but Scotland won't give up without a fight. THe captain, Richie Berrington, manned the barricades with 49 from 32 but was part of a collapse of 5 for 14 that took the guts out of the Scottish innings.
