From today's pre-cap it is evident that Garima loved Arnav's dad and when she found that he was married, she left him. Same dilemma as Khushi had faced.

khishi didn't love shyaaam..

so can't compare both..

but yaa I also have a feeling that Arnav's dad and shyaam both try to do the same thing
