It was another hr wen we entered a giant gate..

Smhw I felt he was driving at his own sweet pace not capitalizing on d speed of d car!!

Bt he seemed happy n content!!

The road was ascending towards a unseen destination!!

As we closed on d distance, I realized we were ascending a hill..

I wondered whr we were goin..

Bt dis dusht danav wasn't answering ny questions!!

As d view cleared I realised we had reached a hill top bungalow..

'twas beautiful..

I dint fail to c it was marked wid the "khuranas" tag!!

I was mesmerized wid d place..

Not just coz of its beauty, but also coz I'd alwaz dreamed of owning such a place..!!

Even b4 maan cud open d door I was out, takin in d scenery!!

"wont u cm in?"

"hmm.. yeah.. its so beautiful? U got dis built?"

"yeah.. bought dis s few yrs ago.. n den.."

He stopped.. der was silence for a few min..

"u wont believe whn I say dis.. but dis is almost like my dream house.. which I've never mentioned to ny1 except.. "

Except DD..

I turned arnd.. maan was standing at a distance talkin on d phone!!

A co-incidence tht me n maan sm hw shared similar tastes!!

maan rushed back..

"sorry.."

"hmm.. its ok.."

"lemme show u in.."

It was exquisite to say d least.. d way d interiors were done!! Being an interior decorator myself.. I cud make out d nuances of it!! Evry bit of it spoke of royalty.. evry aspect lukd into wid fine details..

"its wonderful..!!"

"glad u liked it.. I had so many arguments with d interior decorator b4 deciding on implementing dis one.. guess its all worth it!!"

"m sure evry1 must hv praised it..!!"

"umm.. actually it just got done a week ago.. so we r d first ones seeing it!!"

I stared at him..

Just what was dis guy!!

A never ending mystery!!

"lets check out d rest!!"

We saw arnd d house.. it was just as good!! Be it d bedrooms, d kitchen, d bathrooms, d garden.. evry thng was equipped in evry luxury possible..

But den dis was maan singh khurana.. whn did he do stuff which was nythng less dan d best!!

Finally we settled down on d comfortable couches of d drawing room..

I looked at d clock.. it was nearing 12..

"so wht hv u got up ur sleeves nxt mr khurana?"

"u got ny preferences?"

"no..its ur challenge.. so we'll go as per wht u've planned.."

"umm.. well den lets get started.."

We walked to a room I hadn't seen b4..

Thr was a big screen der..

A movie..?!!

As we settled in..

It was my favorite movie playin..

"kuch kuch hota hai!!"

I was excited as hell!!

Thoughi had seen it so many tyms bt hadn't recently.. bt I was way 2 much in love wid srk n cud watch it n no of tyms..

Bt maan.. dis wasn't his type of movie!!

Bt I was proven wrong.. horribly wrong!!

Coz we dint c d movie d normal way..

Actually as d movie went into d flash back..

I realised I wasn't d only one mouthing d dialogues.. he too was thorough wid dem!!

Though dis was shocking.. bt 'twas great fun too!!

It was d scene wen anjali was asking rahul abt d type of gal he wud like n hw wud he react wen he met her..

"uske saamne sir jhukake kahunga ki a tum job hi ho..

I luv u!!"

But it wasn't srk's voice.. it was maan!!

Actually d sound suddenly went off due to sm loose connection..

N in d flow of d moment he had continued voicing d dialogue aloud!!

For a second der was complete silence n i just stared at him..

..den I had burst out laughing!!

Maan looked embarrassed..

"I just check d connection!!"

He got up, bt I held his hand..

"don't bother.. dis is better.. n thts wht we had been doing!!"

I pulled him back..

But d sound came back..

N we continued d movie!!

Except wen maan thot he cudnt voice salman's part!!

Kuch kuch hota was never better!!

We were hungry by den..

I wondered wht maan had in mind for lunch..

I followed him into d kitchen..

"so whts nxt?"

"lets wait n watch till I get d lunch prepared"

"you're cooking??!! Again?"

"well u hv chef maan singh khurana at ur service maam.."

He gave me a mock bow!!

I was surprised to c him ready to knead d flour!!

"maan.. wht r u planning to make?"

"ur fav aloo parathas!!"

I looked at him as if I had never seen him b4..

Since I'd learned DD's fascination for Italian, i d focuseed so much on it bt aloo parathas were my weakness!!

N nw..

Hey babaji.. was dis man for real!!

I came out of my thots wen I heard smthng fall..

It was d jug of water..

N he had flour all ovr him

Apparently maan wasn't really all tht experienced wid dis..

But just his gesture to make my favorite was enuf to touch my heart..!!

"maan.. lemme handle dis!!"

"no.. I mean I can handle dis!!"

Oh dis stubborn adorable dusht danav!!

"maan we can do dis together.. u can tk care of d potatoes!!"

I m sure his rational mind told him it was for d best..

Thankfully he let me handle it!!

It was great fun cooking together!!

But considering all d mess we created, it was an achievement we managed to get sm thg made!!

N trust me even d parathas tasted differently great!!

After eating n relaxing a bit..

"geet.. r u ready for d nxt thng?"

"ever ready!!"

He got me sports shoes.. to replace my heals..

N

We were goin trekking.!.

As we ascended higher up..

It got better n better!!

I was glad to have dressed up in jeans n tee.. glad I had changed my mind abt my fav skirt!!

As we landed up reaching d top, it was a mind blowing view as we saw d sun-set together..

It was just close to 6.30 bt winters made it dark faster!!

As we came down, I thot probably we were to head back soon!!

N tht thot wasn't definitely wasn't a happy one!! Not now..

"umm.. I don't even know hw to tell u.. hw gud d day's been!! Thank u.."

"hmm.. so u agree I m not a BORE?" he added wid a smirk..

"well.. I ll be truthful.. u don't even have d B of bore!!"

"thank u maam.. bt ders still a lot left!!"

Hey.. don't know hw dis has turned up.. bt hope its fyn..

M busy dis wk..

So hv started typing d nxt one..

If it gets done, wil try n post it asap..

If not, guess d nxt one will b only after Saturday..
