Whatever might be the reason, it is wrong...i mean come on, dont u hv a mirror fellows? look at him...he looked so good during diwali time episodes...

Maybe for some religious purposes, I'm sure I've read that in the past he has avoiding cutting for similar reasons, I may be wrong though

I think they want him to look a bit mellowed down - like calmer and a bit lovey dovey. The short hair ASR is extremely handsome and brutal to that effect when he gets angry...😆
