no doubt the bigamy track is a most cliched track " to gain TRPS " on indian telly, but even then, there was a huge scope for NBT to become a trendsetter here too by not making Ridz into a vamp and keeping her a positive character with her own diginity and self respect intact ... who returns the MS next morning of her marriage not because she's a " mahaan tyaag ki murat " but because " she doesnt want to be in a forced marital relationship with a man who had already told her that he loves someone else, she doesnt want a husband who would be with her out of societal pressures but will continue to love someone else all his life ". she knows that a huge blunder had been committed in the name of marriage which has put several lives on stake, so she genuinely sets out undoing it and trying to control the damage done .. as much as she can. all these doesnt make Riddhima mahaan or a spineless " pati-brata patni who considers her husband as pati-parmeshwar " but would have established as a dignified, self-respecting character even in the midst of the bigamy track.

but now, by deciding to turn Riddhima into a vamp who goes scheming and plotting against people to achieve her own objective, the creatives have taken away the little diginity she had till now from her. and i hate people who lets go of their self-respect and dignity and stoops so low to achieve their own ends.

Why don't they get rid of ridz...😕 this won't work for the show & TRPs will go down further... but CVs don't want to let go her...😡😡

@polly: Nice pov for R character! As you had mentioned if they want to retain the R character postive they cud have defined her brave and strong, instead of the self-pity mode! She cud have been defined as a girl who does things for her family and din't want to hurt anybody else in the process! Here she might have not wanted Mohan to be hurt due to MR marriage thus deciding to release him from the pressure and move on with her life! Her purpose shud have been only to save her dad! And nothing else!

If only the CVs were thinking in the line of characterization of every individual and defining the story around them! If thats the case then wud have carved every character and wud have stood true those characterization without any unwanted turns & twists in the story! Ofcourse they cud have driven the story with the behaviors of the characters and that wud have taken the sequence better! Instead they are trying to fit in some random sequences which they think will make the show HOT and SPICY, thus compromising on the characters and their behaviors! In every way they spoil the character and the story! And ofcourse the mood of the audience! 😡

in fact, all the days i had been screaming and demanding to keep Riddhima positive was actually based on this picture that i had in mind for her.

But I don't see this happening because from drama POV it won't be fetching TRPs... On TV they hardly show such strong women... & if they made ridz so strong then what will happen to megha's character... 😆 she is heroine of the show...😆 Well I have never see such a strong woman character on telly... even megha's character was weakened over time...
