Jai that is such a good post. You explain it in a good way, you needed to make it long to get your point across. Great job :).

Jai, Tanya is right, you would make a great dad. But tell me one thing, you would leave Archu behind to fend for herself? You would give up your wife for your daughter who is not in possession of all the facts about her mother? Just curious.
If I were Archana, this is what I would do. I would not shove Ovi down Purvi's throat all the time, however much I mourn in private, I would tell Purvi there was no use in pursuing this impossible dream of living with Manav as I have promised Sachin and cannot go back on my promise. It is not Manav's fault but my choice so to leave all well alone and concentrate on her marriage and happiness. I would not try to pull wool over her eyes or mine and say the Arjun/Purvi/Ovi issue makes it impossible for a reconciliation because that would be a lie. The circumstances were already beyond repair because I had lied to my husband for the sake of my foolish, misguided son. I had failed to disclose the truth to my husband about his mother and her underhanded ways to separate us. I would tell Purvi the truth and nothing but the entire, unvarnished, unembellished truth. As for the invitation and Ovi, I would have taken the invitation and given it to my husband, in-laws and daughters and son just as Archana did. I have nothing to fear, nothing to hide, and I owe them the truth, no more cover-ups. I would tell them just like she did, I don't expect them to attend but I am doing my duty in informing them and inviting them, after all, I do still share some relationship with them and live under the same roof.As for Ovi, I would do what Archana did, not hide the card from Ovi, not pussy foot around the issue, the girl is in trouble and much as I love her, it would be my duty to make her confront the bitter truth. It is no longer just denial, it is bigger than that, the girl is going mental and none in the household want to accost her with the truth. So, yes, I would tell I love her unconditionally, I was hurt by her bargaining with me but Arjun is not an inanimate object to be bartered and he does not love her. She will be unhappy with him and I will not snatch her sister's happiness to give her solace or to satisfy my need to have my family back. I would also tell Manav what Ovi did and demand that he provide medical help for my daughter before she spirals further down this craziness.

Thats how I feel. I feel Manav and Archana should have put their relationship first because marriage isnt a joke and i feel PR cvs have shown it as a joke. Even being married they are both scarficing their married life for others (so pathetic). They should have fought even harder specially after they had kids because it ruins children lives. Look how Sachin, Soham, Teju, and Ovi turned out, and Purvi grew up without a father!ps. I agree with everyone youll make a great father.👏
