What would you like to see improved in India and why?

Transport? Food inspection? Pollution problems? Sanitary and hygiene issues? Or maybe replace certain illiterate politicians 😉? Or maybe Student facilities?

I'm not a resident of India myself, but as India is on the fast track to being in the top 3 most successful countries in the world, what would you like to be made better?

I, myself, would like to have Education to the average Indian improved: for instance education about HIV and AIDS for ALL adolescents and adults should be COMPULSORY (no matter how rich or poor)...because experts are predicting that over 11 million Indians are to die due to this illness within the next 20 years.....

This question is open to indians of any age and even to N.R.Is....It would be really interesting to find out what you think

Easy question, we need to improve on everything under the sun. Be it Transport, Education, Health, Employment, Law-Order, Equality, Curruption, Population, Water, Sanitation, Pollution, Terrorism, Defence...Everything!

I would pick Curruption, bec'se everything else is in a way related to it. It affects every sphere of life. If everyone was upright and honest then this country would have been something else.

P.S. I found her pic in Indian Express...she is so cute!😊

Yes, I strongly agree....if only all the money was going where it should be going and justice was TRULY served....I would pack my bags and move straight into Mumbai!!

I guess power and corruption go hand in hand (as all countries are experiencing this in some way or another)......and I guess the only way to separate the two would be.....death penalty to any politician caught...those guys really make me angry😡

Is there any limit to improvement and progress???The sky isnt the limit... 😛

Yup,but we can talk about relative progress 😛 ....I strongly feel that there must be a demarcation between politics and money..Meaning,currently,its the minister who sanctions the money for various purposes, after getting the consensus of the parliament/legislative house and decides as to which company would get the project etc..and thus we have ministers making whopping money.........

The work of the minister must be bifurcated, and thus one can reduce corruption.....The anti corruption laws must be revised, and acts must be passed by the parliament for the implementation of the new rules...I know its kind of impossible,by the whole recommendation system must be abolished 😡 ..I mean, this recommendation is presenty everywhere, right from the bottom rung of the ladder to the highest echelons.....and thus we have the Natwar Singh controveries

India has still a long way to go...We're getting there but the progress has to be more rapid...India has to concenterate on sectors like agriculture, handicraft etcetera...Tourism needs to be fortified...as Solidsnake said,we need to improve upon every field....
health,education,eradication of corruption,agriculture,technology etcetera

Very well said, Buffie! 👏

Another thing I would like to see is that retirement age for Politicans, it should be 65 max. No one should be indispensible, whoever s/he might be.

Definately the corruption tops my list. The day we get rid of corruption we will improve many other things like our infrastructure, health industry, poverty ,transport, sanitation, education etc etc.

Its un-believably shocking how much corruption is eating up from every aspect.
Corruption is linked with Every damn thing in India.

Lets see as an example: If we get rid of corruption:
1)We improve our infrastructure. No more stealing power, water, cable using low grade material for building roads, and trasnportation system.

2) No corruption in Educational Institutes, we have better quality people graduating and making improvements in the society.

3)Health Industry- Imagine being treated at a goverment hospital by the doctors who actually became Dr's through merit.

i could go on as to how getting rid of corruption will improve India ten fold !!

And how could I forget...the reservation/quota system needs to be rescinded....The reservation system really vitiates the prospects of the future

Rules must be made more stringent..people who spit paan/throw waste paper etc on roads need to be heavily fined,so that they dont repeat it again 😡

The government really needs to think about the slums...There are so many,in cities like Mumbai..Import duty needs to be revised.....
