Her weakness is Arnav. for me that makes her so much more beautiful as a character. But the way they are showcasing it, it borderlines definitely on more paagal and less on cute.

ASR and Khuhsi are wonderfully flawed character, that's what made them so appealing. But now they are going over the top withboth the character. Making him say whatever the hell he wants and making her accept everything and anything chucked in her direction.

From a kind hearted, loving and sacrificing but essentially self respecting, principled, fiery, independent, self assured and no nonsense girl, she is reduced to a nonsensical, ridiculous, and imprudent woman who seems to have least regard for herself. The reason for her existence seems to be to constantly please others at the cost to her own dignity and to silently suffer their innumerable atrocities without so much as a grimace.

She used to be a brilliant many splendoured bloom, now she is like a bunch of plastic flowers! A trophy lead! Talk of systematic annihilation of a character!

anyways, why strong and self relient khushi is potrayed so docile ?? well, love does these things to some people. As some one already said khushi is over the edge in love with her arnav. So much so that she prefers to forget his shortcomings, his prior brutal attacks on her character/status etc., yes love makes one put their own self interests in the second slot. She is in love, gals.

Dont attack me and blast me for comparing our beautiful arshi to crime, but I was thinking long long back why some wives support their criminal husbands. Ex., their was a case one dgp (not taking names) molested a young girl and his wife who is a lawyer (so convenient for him) supported and fought the case for him !!!! This made me wonder at that time, what bullshit !! the guy is bad, the lady is worse !! But now I am thinking maybe love is indeed blind !! It makes people behave differently as opposed to the normal behaviour !

We can only imagine that eventually (atleast in our dreams) as arnav and khushi live together in a happily married life, arnav will talk with khushi about all their past tu-tu-mai-mai and they both will have a heart heart conversation with tears, apologies and all other emotional effects.

Yesterday i had this wonderful debate with @Rima on what's redemption and the difference between Redemption and guilt and some other very interesting things. You guys should check out her thread. Its awesome.

Anyway the reason i brought up that thread was because after having a wondeful debate and reading some very nice responses i realised how weak the characterization of Khushi has been.

She was a happy go lucky girl with a will to live to her fullest. She was the girl who made jelabis when things were at their very worst. She was the girl who stood up for what she thought was right. That was the girl i LOVED and related to.

Now we have a fool of a girl who gets treated like a scrap of meat. No fighting spirit and no self respect. What the hell kind of lead is that?

The TRPs didnt go down because the leads lost chemistry nor did it go down because Barun left for his movie. It went down because the CV made a mockery of the female lead.

I want the heart and soul of IPK back. I want Khushi Kumari Gupta.

I want the girl who said Baad mai gaye aap or baad mai gaye aapki naukri.

I want the girl who seldom cried and made me live life a little better.

I dont want this Mother teresa clone without a spine.

Question: Who exactly do you want Kushi to fight right now? She definitely will not and cannot talk back to Dadi...Does she need to fight with arnav now when we see that both are clearly in love and expressing it? She did stand up to him before he forced her back to RM na... Don't bash me please but I dont think Kushi can do anything about Dadi degrading her...and even if she were the old Kushi I don't think she'd talk back to Dadi...
I'm unhappy because I think she should've put up a better fight with ASR...it didnt make sense to forget all about the contract and be swept away by ASR because of a few sweetmeats he gave her... I think they could have taken a little more time to come to this realization of love. As in, they could have given us a longer and more realistic ruthana-manana track...then it would have made sense to get here...Its like all of a sudden she's forgotten all about the contract and her previous stand...
