discontentment must reflect . the bribing scnes by cv s we will see tonight cannot sway us from the real issue.

Keep our emotions alive in IF through such threads

and moreover along with a strong Khushi

the beautiful love story which we saw between them before hate marriage was the best thing to happen.

they spoiled it with marriage, didnt give them chance to romance.

Romance before marriage is different from romance after marriage

and now after all doubts cleared, all are getting busy with remarriage.

i didnt get chance to see love prior to marriage simply as lovers.

Marriage has to happen in Tv serials , but why skip lovers track.

there are shows on love post wedding like Yeh rishta kya and Diya Bati.

Even Teri meri love stories mostly focuses on lovers tale rather than Post wedding love saga.

And lovers tale was the USP of IPK, which has been ignored. now they will show love after remarriage.No problem, But why escaped the Love before marriage. when TRPs were very high.

ThEY dont realise how wrong and disastrous they have gone with the show due to didi ki saut n experiments. Love romances before marriage affected due to didi ki saut which no one likes.

even they have a chance now. they can push back remarriage a bit back and show Khushi back to Gupta House and their romantic datings and excuses to meet each other.Khushi seeking excuses to come to Shanti van.

I think the Actual truth of the shayam the grt should come out now , before audience loose interest.

second i feel khushi now should dig out the real truth of arnavs mom and should fight for arnav moms respect and show the whole family how strong she was and she her self should get her due respect in the whole process.

i think she should do what arnav and anjali could not do and show that how blind and brainless people they r that they jst believe what they hear and see and leave in their self created world of MU.

and please NO MORE MU BTW ARNAV AND KHUSHI ...GENUENLY TIRED...AND PLEASE cvs if r looking for another set of humilitation for khushi by making her parents responsible for arnavs loss..

THEN FORGET IT...THEN U GUYS SERIOUSLY TAKE A VACATION!

Khushi is not the weakest character in IPK (atleast till a few months back) but her characterization has certainly been made the weakest. Its a pity really because her character was really the one which attracted me to the show initially. It was refreshing to see a female lead who was different from those in other shows.

The USP of IPK was that it was a love story of two strong characters. Now the story is just from the male protagonists POV and his is the only character which has been more or less consistent. The female lead is only for comedy or romance. There is no substance to her character. Its not surprising that the fall in TRPs has coincided with the downfall of her character . Till the CVs don't restore her character, i don't think this show can be revived. We might get ocassional rise in TRPs when the drama element is high ( like the week of Shyam's revelation or even last week) but that will only be a flash in the pan.

I read through Rima's thread and as always she really gets everybody thinking. I agree with you 120%. Khushi's character is totally ruined. While we want her back clearly the CVs are not looking for that. They want this lead to keep crying and falling in Arnav's arms as if she cannot stand on her feet without him. Even when she went back to RM, her character had to fall to Arnav because he is rich and he can do anything. Truly this lead has been changed to a typical bahu or woman without a spine. Keep saying this over and over again - the Nayi Soch is lost somewhere.

The series is glorifying disrespect of a woman by a man and his family and justifying under the banner of 'love'. Although episodes might become interesting Khushi will continue to be the sacrificial goat and will continue to sacrifice for others rather than stand up for her own self-respect. I have never seen this character so confused.

She knows all about marriage and the rituals, remember Lavanya and teaching her. So for her to suddenly come up and talk all about pheras and how they are really not married and the lot just seemed out of place. This is a girl who knows so much about tradition. She knows that just putting sindoor and mangalsutra does not mean that you are married. Her character would have known this right from the start. Somewhere the CVs are going wrong. OMG, we r not allowed to say this r we? I can't be bothered because at the end of the day, we want that strong Khushi and am not sure how that Khushi is going to be revived in the new track with all the previous unfinished tracks still lingering.

hmmm but I think Khushi is still very strong as a character

yes I also hate her spineless behavior when Anjali is concerned
to be more specific I hate Anjali like anything a 30+ woman craving for attention and showing child like mood tantrums is nauseating, and to add to the misery there is Raizada clan which revolves around her day and night as if she is two year old and whosoever pampers her to strengthen her delusion is an idiot ( including Khushi)

yes Khushi is like everybody's Scapegoat and I was also heartbroken when she heard all ASR bakwass abt her being the reason behind Anjali's misery and said she is not even angry at him

but her behavior towards dadi is justified I suppose
you see answering back to ppl of your age is one thing and to elders is other thing
I can understand it coz in my family it is considered as a gruesome manner less act
my Aaji (my maternal grandmother) is so much like Dadi
When she visits us its such a hard time of our life
she keeps on roaming around house lecturing anybody and everybody(even neighbors), she would not let you do anything in your way, she thinks what she does is right and what others do is wrong, I am in final year BDS and she screams at me in front of my friends and relatives ( which leaves me mad ) and the list goes on; but I am not permitted to answer her back;if I sometimes answer back my mother she would not mind, but if I answer back her mother she would not talk to me. even I feel bad after I answer Aaji coz she is old (72 years).
so if Khushi gives Dadi tit for tat it would be a anti-khushi action
and I think most of us will not like it too

tolerance is biggest strength she has, it is something not possessed by many
and that does not make her weakest character
but she must learn to respect herself
she must not bear all bak-bak thrown at her by ASR, Anjali, Payal, and Aakash.
as far as Mami is concerned I think that illiterate woman is not worth of even talking to Khushi
so she must just ignore her like an insect

I have a different view point from most of you !!

There is no character in Iss pyaar which is strong with no loopholes. Every character in our show is sketched with a blotch here and there. Yes, even khushi !!

Khushi was never really strong completely. She had a serious flaw that made her weak and it is her heart.

Yes, Circumstances taught her to forget humiliation for the good of the people she loves. Circumstances made her to take decisions by herself on impulse.

She grew up under the care of her foster parents but never forgot that she was an orphan always. She always felt indebted to the people who brought her up and so whenever there is an opportunity she would put herself to some use for them. She helped shashi in the sweet shop, she tried to make things alright when payal's wouldbe inlaws asked for dowry, she tried to earn money when she found out that buaji finances are not looking good etc., all this is because from childhood she grew up with a thought of making herself useful .She worked under a man who abused her because of that very reason. But burst out finally (that is the only time they showed her as being worthy of being called strong ) in GH episode and got out of the job. But then she again took up Arnav's offer and started working for Rzds.

All this time she always had two minds. She was scared as hell. But when there is no other way even a weakest mind becomes tough.

Now, khushi has not changed much as per me. She always had to act tough for the sake of her family but now she has someone whom she can rely on.. depend on.. and when that someone is now there for her she is showing her other side of her personality.

Khushi is a wonderful personality except for her impulsive nature and urge to take in the reins of the situation without consulting anyone.

She is normal like us. We too become strong when there are situations in our life which require us to be so. We too become weak when we have someone who assures us, supports us, whom we trust completely, whom we love completely. Then we let the other person be the strong one until he/she needs us to be the strong one again.

I am telling this out of my experience. In any partnership roles keep changing as per the situations.. that is how partnership works.. This is how partners work in real life.

I dont know whether I am making sense. I am not a good writer as many of you are. But what I meant eventually is that khushi is a girl who is normal like many of us ...strong as well as weak.

While I like how you present your view of Khushi not having changed much and is still a strong character, there r a lot of instances and yes, we know that she is now married and is understanding Arnav much more, hence the change in herself, that show an actual weakening of her character. Even if she is or has fallen in love with Arnav, her character would have been strengthened if she makes Arnav recognise that what he has done to her was wrong. He is no doubt trying to make it up to her, but the day she walked out of RM she should have stood her ground and not return. She knew that her marriage is not a marriage not even a contract marriage because they were never married. There is no difference in her and Lavanya as she has gone against all her principles by living with a man who is indeed not married to her not even legally.

I am not happy with the way khushis role is shaping up...submissive Indian nari kind, sanaya is such a good actress and she is left with only one kind of role nowadays which is highly annoying😕 I feel Arnav's role is very strong and barun gets to experiment with so many expressions( which I absolutely love) I just wish cvs give some back bone to khushi & she can be imperfect once in a while after all she is a normal human being.

Right from get go, we see her giving ASR as good as she got! She didnt sit around being abused by different people! NOW she has been relegated to this "Abala Nari" status... JUST so they can show us the "Anjali-Arnav" "Didi Ki Sautan" storyline!

They could STILL have found a way of doing this, WITHOUT butchering Khushi's charachter! But they didnt know HOW! So they decided to make Anjali "Blind" and fall for Snake again! BUT to facilitate that it was important for MORE MU's of Khushi by the family, and the entrance of DADI!! IF Anjali knew the WHOLE truth as well as the REST of the Raizada's... THEN there would have been no chance of SNAKE doing a number on this DADI HAG!

CV's have totally SCREWED up the storyline to "Inject" this DIDI drama, and in the meantime BUTCHERED Khushi's charchater down to a "Caricature" of her old self! No wonder the TRP is SO low, despite the romance etc!

People want to see Romance AFTER vindication of Khushi! WHEN Khushi gets the RESPECT she DESERVES! NOT while SNAKE not even being there is STILL running the show! There is a LIMIT! We have REACHED that now!
